It is well-known that Nandamuri Balakrishna arrived as the chief guest for the pre-release event of ‘Gangs Of Godavari’. As we are aware, whatever Balayya does in public goes viral. There is a visual of Balayya sitting with a bottle of alcohol at his feet and it is all over social media now. People are bashing this behavior of senior hero at a public event.
When asked about it at the press conference, producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi made it clear that there was no bottle by Balayya’s side at the event and it was all CGI work. He claims that he knows it for a fact as he was the one who organized the event. Vishwak jokingly stated that we would hire the guy who made that video for the CGI work of ‘Gangs Of Godavari 2’.
Naga Vamsi also responded to Balakrishna pushing Anjali. He stated that it was in a jovial manner and it was made viral without context. He said that they high-fived each other just 10 seconds later but no one is sharing that video. Vishwak added that Balakrishna sir said everything in a light-hearted manner and it explains his kind-hearted nature. The movie’s cast includes Goparaju Ramana, Praveen, Hyper Aadi and others.

Ticket Price GO Row Puts Prabhas and Chiranjeevi Films Under Spotlight
January 10, 2026

The Telangana government’s approach to approving elevated ticket prices has sparked fresh debate within the Telugu film industry, following contrasting outcomes for films starring Prabhas and Chiranjeevi. The issue has drawn attention to how government permissions can significantly impact big-budget releases, irrespective of star power.
Prabhas’s upcoming film Raja Saab reportedly failed to receive the required Government Order (GO) from the Telangana government within the expected timeline. As a result, plans for paid premiere shows were affected, causing disappointment among distributors and exhibitors, especially given the film’s scale and high pre-release expectations.
In sharp contrast, Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu secured approval for elevated ticket prices smoothly, without any visible delays or hurdles. The disparity in treatment quickly became a talking point across trade circles, triggering speculation about the factors influencing the decision-making process.
According to industry chatter, the delay in Raja Saab’s approval may not have been purely procedural. One prevailing view suggests that Prabhas does not actively engage in personal lobbying or political outreach, which may have worked against the film. Another theory points to internal trade politics, with rival distribution interests possibly playing a role. There is also speculation that last-minute law and order concerns were cited by certain ministers to stall the approval.
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi’s film is believed to have benefited from strong political connections, enabling a faster clearance through official channels. Whether the contrasting outcomes were coincidental or indicative of deeper biases, the episode has once again highlighted the crucial role of government permissions in the film business.
The situation has reignited discussions around fairness, transparency, and consistency in policy implementation, leaving the Telugu film industry divided over whether star power alone is sufficient when administrative approvals come into play.
