In a cordial and non-political meeting, veteran actor Nagarjuna and his wife recently visited Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence. The purpose of the meeting was to personally present the wedding invitation for their second son Akhil Akkineni’s much-anticipated wedding.
Akhil is set to marry Zainab Ravdjee on June 6, 2025, and preparations for the grand event are reportedly underway. Following in the footsteps of his elder brother Naga Chaitanya, Akhil’s wedding will also take place at the family-owned Annapurna Studios, continuing the tradition of hosting significant family celebrations at the iconic venue.
The couple has been in a committed relationship for some time and officially announced their engagement on November 26, 2024. This recent meeting marks a positive interaction between Nagarjuna and CM Revanth Reddy, who last met in December 2024 amid political tensions related to the demolition of N Convention by the Telangana Congress government.
Demonstrating goodwill and grace, Nagarjuna has moved past previous disagreements and extended a warm invitation to the Chief Minister for the upcoming nuptials, symbolizing harmony and mutual respect beyond political lines.
