Natural Star Nani is riding high on the success of his latest film, HIT: The 3rd Case, which has struck gold at the box office with packed theatres across regions. The team celebrated the film’s triumph with a success meet today, attended by notable figures including veteran producer Dil Raju.
Speaking at the event, Dil Raju shared his optimism and relief: “On May 1, it felt like the Telugu film industry began breathing again. Though several films released in April, audiences were hesitant to return to theatres. We were genuinely worried that summer might pass without a solid hit. We pinned our hopes on HIT 3, and while early bookings gave us a glimmer of hope, the actual response has exceeded expectations—especially the last 30 minutes, which have become a major talking point.”
Director Sailesh Kolanu expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nani, both the lead actor and the film’s producer. “I truly hope I’ve lived up to the trust Nani placed in me. Our entire team worked relentlessly, even traveling across the country to capture the right visuals. Seeing the film come alive on the big screen and embraced by audiences is a deeply satisfying experience.”
Nani, visibly moved by the reception, said, “The response from the audience, industry peers, and well-wishers has been overwhelming. I’m beyond thrilled with the super hit talk surrounding HIT 3. That said, we’re still holding back from making any grand declarations—we ourselves don’t know how far this journey will go. But we’ll definitely need to celebrate this at least four or five times!”
Wearing dual hats as both actor and producer, Nani added, “This time, the responsibility was greater. I’m extremely proud of Sailesh—what audiences have seen in HIT 3 is just a glimpse of his creative vision. A big thank you to Dil Raju garu for his unwavering support, and I sincerely appreciate the backing of the Andhra Pradesh government, Hon. CM Chandrababu Naidu garu, and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan garu, especially in regard to the ticketing policy. This win is not just ours—it belongs to Telugu cinema.”
Nani is scheduled to leave for the United States later today and will return in five days to continue with post-release promotional activities.
