Nara Lokesh Exposes Jagan’s Self-Promotion in AP Assembly

Former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s obsession with having his images printed on nearly every government-related item in Andhra Pradesh has long been a topic of discussion. From school supplies to welfare schemes, Jagan ensured his presence was visually imprinted across various government initiatives.

This issue was brought to light in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly today by Education Minister Nara Lokesh, who took the opportunity to expose the extent of this practice during Jagan’s tenure. Lokesh presented several items, including peanut barfi, school bags, notebooks, and even eggs supplied to government school students—all featuring Jagan’s image prominently.

The revelation of Jagan’s excessive branding, even on basic school supplies, sparked widespread criticism. Many social media users, unfamiliar with the extent of this practice, were taken aback by Lokesh’s presentation in the assembly, which highlighted Jagan’s self-promotional approach.

In contrast, the NDA government has now introduced a politically neutral school uniform in a simple green color, removing any political symbols or attributions. Lokesh has emphasized his commitment to keeping the education system free from political influence, ensuring that governance remains focused on public welfare rather than personal branding.
