Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh engaged in a candid conversation with senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai at the Media Conclave today. During the interaction, he shared insights into his family’s dynamics and addressed the much-debated Red Book issue that has captured national attention.
When asked about the role of women in the Nara family, Lokesh offered a lighthearted yet meaningful perspective. “My wife Brahmani pays my credit card bills, which pretty much sums up how much we depend on the women in our family. We share a strong sense of mutual love and support. I truly admire her ability to balance work and personal life, and I aspire to achieve the same. Just as my mother, Bhuvaneshwari Garu, has been a pillar of support for my father, Chandrababu Garu, Brahmani is my support system,” he remarked.
On the subject of the controversial Red Book, which has drawn national media scrutiny, Lokesh provided a measured response. “For the media, the Red Book might be a sensational topic of discussion. However, at its core, it serves a critical purpose. As a Stanford graduate, I myself had 23 cases filed against me during the YSRCP regime. If my situation was this dire, one can only imagine the hardships faced by our TDP cadres. The Red Book was introduced to safeguard our party members from YSRCP-backed goons and corrupt officials,” he clarified.
Lokesh’s remarks provided a glimpse into both his personal values and the larger political landscape in Andhra Pradesh, setting the tone for further discussions on governance and party affairs.
