In recent days, a subtle tug-of-war has emerged between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka over attracting new investments. With several companies voicing dissatisfaction over infrastructure challenges in Bengaluru, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh has taken a proactive stance, inviting those firms to explore opportunities in his state — a move that drew a response from Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.

Amid the growing discussion, Lokesh made a poised and constructive statement today, emphasizing that his focus remains firmly on Andhra Pradesh’s growth and investment potential.

“When companies or industrialists express concerns about infrastructure elsewhere, it naturally presents an opportunity for Andhra Pradesh. My duty is to extend complete support to anyone who wishes to invest here. There’s nothing wrong with healthy competition. I’m not here for Twitter wars — my goal is to attract investments and work relentlessly to make it happen,” said Lokesh.

Without naming any specific state or company, Lokesh maintained a balanced and professional tone, reinforcing his commitment to development over political sparring. His statement stands out as a mature, forward-thinking approach aimed at positioning Andhra Pradesh as an investor-friendly destination.
