Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Narappa is one of the anticipated movies of the actor. The Telugu remake of the blockbuster Tamil movie Asuran was expected to have a theatrical release on May 14, but it has been postponed owing to the rising COVID-19 cases in the country.
Hence the inevitable situation, the shooting of the films are also stalled. Now that patchwork of Narappa is done and the post-production works are also completed, the makers of the film are planning to ready the first copy in another week.
With 50 percent occupancy, the theatres in Telangana are allowed to reopen. However, the producers are waiting for 100 percent occupancy. In the second week of July, the government may allow for full capacity.
When the theatres are open with full capacity, ‘Narappa’ will be the first big movie to hit the big screens, as per reports.
