Actor Naveen Polishetty, who stars opposite Meenakshi Chaudhary in director Vamsi’s upcoming romantic comedy Anaganaga Oka Raju, has taken on an exciting new role — that of a singer. The versatile actor is set to make his playback singing debut with the film’s first single, “Bhimvaram Balma.”
On Tuesday, Naveen shared a humorous announcement video on X, revealing his big step into singing. Posting the clip, he wrote:
“ANNAGANAGA OKA SINGER JAANEJIGARS. First song from #AnaganagaOkaRaju releasing on Nov 27. Sankranthiki pandaga ki dance stepulatho ready ga undandi. It’s time for #BhimvaramBalma.”
The clip confirms that the song will be unveiled on November 27, marking Naveen’s first-ever venture as a playback singer.
Anaganaga Oka Raju, produced by Sithara Entertainments, is set against a festive backdrop with Naveen portraying Raju — an overconfident yet charming bridegroom preparing for his wedding. The film promises a colourful mix of romance, humour, and celebration.
The project has been in the spotlight for quite some time, with multiple updates and changes along the way. While the initial teaser hinted at a 2025 release, the makers later announced that the film will now hit theatres on January 14, 2026, coinciding with the Sankranthi festival.
With its first single Bhimvaram Balma ready to set the festive mood, fans are eagerly looking forward to more glimpses from this vibrant rom-com.
