Nandamuri Balakrishna is creating a strong pan-India impact with his upcoming big-budget spectacle Akhanda 2. Reuniting with star director Boyapati Srinu—his most successful collaborator—Balakrishna is gearing up to deliver another powerful, high-voltage entertainer. The film’s trailer has already generated massive buzz across the country, further raising expectations for the sequel.
As part of their nationwide promotional journey, Balakrishna, Boyapati Srinu, and the film’s core team met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During the meeting, the team showcased select portions of Akhanda 2. Impressed by what he watched, Yogi Adityanath appreciated both Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu, expressing genuine excitement for the film’s release.
He emphasized that films highlighting the greatness of Indian Dharma, culture, traditions, and divine heritage play an important role in society. He commended the team for bringing such a meaningful narrative to the forefront and promoting it on a national scale.
As a gesture of respect, the team presented him with an Akhanda souvenir and a specially crafted Akhanda Trishulam. Given Yogi Adityanath’s role as a prominent representative of Sanatana Dharma, the filmmakers felt it was significant to share the film with him ahead of its release.
Backed by an ambitious promotional campaign across India, Akhanda 2 is set for a grand release on 5th December in both 2D and 3D formats, promising an extraordinary visual and emotional experience for audiences nationwide.
