Pawan Kalyan Gifts Luxury Car to OG Director Sujeeth

For the first time in his career, Pawan Kalyan surprised everyone by gifting a luxury car to one of his directors. The gesture was made for Sujeeth, the director of They Call Him OG, and it instantly became a major talking point in Tollywood.
While Pawan Kalyan is known for openly praising his directors on stage, his bond with Sujeeth has clearly stood out. From the making of OG to its release and eventual success, their strong connection has been evident, and the luxury car gift only reinforced that special association.
Sujeeth managed to present Pawan Kalyan in a way fans had rarely seen before. At the film’s pre-release event, Pawan made a dramatic entry in full costume, holding a katana—something no other director had ever convinced him to do. Even at the success meet, Pawan appeared wielding a gun alongside Sujeeth and music director Thaman, later revealing that he did so purely out of affection for them.
During the success meet, Pawan spoke emotionally about his directorial film Johnny. He admitted that while he was once disappointed with its outcome, he now feels proud of having made it, as the film inspired Sujeeth to pursue a career in cinema. Pawan further remarked that with a team like Sujeeth’s, Johnny could have turned into a major success.
Pawan Kalyan also confirmed that he will be doing a sequel to OG, despite his demanding political and administrative responsibilities, largely driven by Sujeeth’s passion for filmmaking. The luxury car gift has further strengthened fans’ belief that Sujeeth earned this rare appreciation by giving Pawan deep emotional satisfaction as an actor.
They Call Him OG went on to collect around ₹300 crore at the box office, emerging as the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025. The film starred Priyanka Mohan, Emraan Hashmi, Arjun Das, and Shriya Reddy, with music composed by Thaman and production by DVV Entertainments.
