Actress Regina Cassandra has slowed down a bit in the recent times but is making meaty choices. Her next is ‘Nene Naa’ which is a Tamil and Telugu bilingual being directed by Caarthick Raju. The first look of the film is unveiled by mega hero Varun Tej.
In the first look, Regina is seen in old school traditional attire and it has a royal appeal. But there are thorns beside Regina and blood stains on her face which add up to the suspense. Touted to be a period drama, this is a female oriented film.
For her role, Regina is said to have performed all the stunts herself without opting for body doubles. The film also stars Akshara Gowda and Vennela Kishore in key supporting roles.
The producers of the film are aiming for summer release.
