New York Times Issues Clarification Of Front Story On Pm Modi

The pictures of the leading newspaper in the United States, The New York Times calling the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi as the Last Hope of Earth, took the social media like a storm. The picture was widely circulated among social media platforms.

The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) leaders and supporters have widely shared the pic on their social media accounts. As a big twist in the issue, the American daily ‘The New York Times’ took to Twitter to give clarity on the main story and said the picture was fake and fabricated. Sharing the picture of the fake story, the New York Times striked the picture with red marks.

Having said that the story was fake, New York Times had shared the link of the original cover story it had covered and said people can read the original story by opening the link that was shared in the tweet.

“This is a completely fabricated image, one of many in circulation featuring Prime Minister Modi. All of our factual reporting on Narendra Modi can be found at,” the NYTimes Communication said in a tweet.

“LAST, BEST HOPE OF EARTH.”WORLDS MOST LOVED AND MOST POWERFUL LEADER, IS HERE TO BLESS US,” the matter mentioned in the fake and widely circulated cover story of the daily reads. In the picture, the Prime Minister can be seen signing papers.

As the date mentioned in the fake picture was during Narendra Modi’s three-day visit to the United States to attend key meetings, the netizens also thought that the leading daily had carried out a special story on Narendra Modi. But reality has something else to say.
