According to a reputed media channel known for breaking exclusive stories, Thalapathy Vijay recently held a private meeting with a senior representative of the Congress party. Reports suggest that Praveen Chakravarty, a top-ranking Congress official and close associate of Rahul Gandhi, met Vijay on Friday at a secret venue.

This meeting follows Congress’s recent discussions with their current allies in Tamil Nadu, particularly DMK’s Stalin, where the party reportedly requested 40 MLA tickets for the upcoming election. Stalin, however, is said to favour limiting Congress to 25–30 seats. In this context, Vijay’s meeting with a key Congress representative has captured political attention, as it signals the actor’s potential influence in shaping alliances.
