Ever since an official announcement on Chiru’s son-in-law’s debut film is announced, there have been rumours that Chiru would fund the film as he wanted a grand launch for his son-in-law Kanuganti Kalyan which is not actually true.
Satyanand, who groomed several top stars of Tollywood, is said to have played a significant role behind the project. Kalyan like many of the stars of the industry went to Satyanand to learn the nuances of acting. It is Satyanand who suggested Kalyan to hear the story of new-age filmmaker Rakesh Sashii who also is close to Satyanand.
Kalyan heard the story narrated by Rakesh and immensely liked it. He however told Rakesh that his father-in-law and Megastar Chiranjeevi would listen to the story and gives a final go ahead.
Little did Rakesh expect that he would get chance to narrate story to Chiru. But unexpectedly, one fine day, he was asked to come and meet Chiru and narrate the story that he has for Kalyan. Rakesh told the complete story to Chiru who said to have lauded
Chiru apparently asked Rakesh that he has any producer for the story and Rakesh told Chiru that he has Sai Korrapati who is keen on the story and he also presented his directorial debut. Chiru immediately given his go ahead knowing of Sai’s track record and that’s how the project materialised.
We hear that the entire cost of production would be borne by Sai Korrapati himself and Chiru has no financial role. It is heard that mega family may give its moral support but actually no financial support.
