Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya has expressed his solidarity with Allu Arjun following the tragic incident during the premiere of Pushpa 2, where a stampede led to the death of a woman and injury to her eight-year-old son. Speaking to PTI, Chaitanya said, “We are all there for each other in the South. What happened was unfortunate, and it shouldn’t have gone that way. But we are there for each other.”

The stampede occurred on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, where fans had gathered to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun. A 35-year-old woman tragically lost her life in the chaos, and her young son was injured.

Following the incident, a case was filed against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management at Chikkadpally Police Station under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), based on a complaint by the deceased woman’s family. Arjun was arrested on December 13, but the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail on December 14 and regular bail on January 3.

After his release, Naga Chaitanya was one of the actors who visited Arjun’s residence to show support. Currently in Mumbai to promote his upcoming film, Thandel, which releases on February 7, Chaitanya also spoke about the film. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel stars Sai Pallavi and is produced by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts, with Allu Aravind presenting the project.
