Sundeep Kishan’s Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL is marching towards a total washout. The film is a big letdown to audience as well as trade. Even the comedy didn’t work well as it turned out to be dated. Other than handful of political punch lines, Tenali has nothing new to offer disappointing the comedy lovers.
According to trade analysts, the film may not even recover the meager publicity costs involved. The distributors are going to lose chunk of their investment.
However, it is rumoured that first-time producers who are close to director Nageshwar Reddy have pocketed their investment even before the film’s release as the film is made in a shoe-string budget and it is sold off to buyers. Distributors are now hoping that producers should compensate them. Let’s see what happens.
