Maverick director Teja is continuously attacking Tollywood bigwigs. The director in his recent interview has assaulted politicians too. He said KCR, Chandrababu and YS Jagan should remove Rao/Naidu/Reddy from their names.
“I have great respect for Chiranjeevi gaaru who reached all the heights with hard work and dedication. If I get a chance, I would love to work with Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan and even Balakrishna, but I can’t make movies with Chiranjeevi and NTR. They typically pick commercial subjects and are in an image mould, which I can’t make.
Chiranjeevi, Krishna, ANR and NTR used to work more than 2 films a year. But, there is no use with current generation top stars those who can’t even do at least one film a year. Due to decreasing rate of film releases every year, theaters in rural areas are turning into function halls,” asserted Teja.
When asked why he challenged Mohan Babu long ago, Teja replied, “Let’s not talk about the issue here. Just leave it. I am not that strong enough to clash with him.”Interim, Teja who delivered a dud with Hora Hori has said to make a sci-fi with Rajasekhar as his next project.
