A day after Telangana Home minister Mohamood Ali testing positive of Covid-19, on Tuesday, Telangana Deputy Speaker T Padma Rao Goud also fell victim to the virus. For the last three days, Padma Rao complained of high fever and sore throat. As these are the symptoms of the Coronavirus, he underwent a test.
The results have arrived as positive and immediately Padma Rao was shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad and is undergoing treatment. Padma Rao is the fifth ruling party leader to test positive of Covid-19. The authorities are likely to test Padma Rao family members as well.
Three MLAs are already undergoing treatment of Corona in Hyderabad hospitals.
Meanwhile in Telangana, the total cases count has crossed 15,000 mark. The current count stands at 15,394 while the death count is 237.
