NTR and director Koratala Siva are actively promoting Devara: Part 1 in Japan, engaging with the media and sharing fascinating insights about the film, their careers, and Indian cinema. During one such interaction, Koratala Siva made an interesting statement about NTR’s suitability for a potential remake of the classic Sagara Sangamam.
Speaking about legendary director K. Viswanath, Siva said, “There was a director called K. Viswanath who beautifully represented Indian culture through his films. He belongs to our Telugu film industry and made classics like Sagara Sangamam. If filmmakers of our generation ever think of remaking it, NTR is the only choice for the lead role.”
As Siva spoke, NTR, known for his deep admiration for K. Viswanath, smiled in acknowledgment. With his impeccable dancing skills and intense performances, NTR could undoubtedly do justice to such a role. However, the magic of Sagara Sangamam remains irreplaceable, making a remake a challenging task.
Meanwhile, as Devara: Part 1 gears up for release, NTR and Koratala Siva are already set to collaborate again for Devara: Part 2, further strengthening their successful partnership.
