NTR–Prashanth Neel Film Faces Possible Delay Amid Slow Shoot Progress

N. T. Rama Rao Jr. continues to be one of the most versatile and celebrated actors in Indian cinema, with fans eagerly waiting to see him collaborate with top-tier directors. One such much-anticipated project is his film with director Prashanth Neel, which has already generated massive buzz.

To accommodate this big-ticket collaboration, NTR reportedly stepped away from an earlier project with director Buchi Babu Sana, which had been in discussion for quite some time. Eventually, that project moved forward with Ram Charan in the lead, and has been shaping up over the past couple of years.

Initially, fans expected NTR’s film with Prashanth Neel to move at a faster pace. However, reports suggest that despite nearly a year of shooting, less than half of the film has been completed so far, with a significant portion still pending.

This slower-than-expected progress indicates that the project may not be ready for release in 2026, and could potentially be pushed further depending on post-production timelines as well. Given Prashanth Neel’s scale of filmmaking, additional time is expected for both shooting and extensive post-production work.

While expectations remain extremely high following the success of films like KGF and Salaar, the extended timeline may test fans’ patience. NTR, who likely anticipated a quicker turnaround, now appears committed to a longer schedule before moving on to his next projects.
