Cut to the point, ever since the movie “Mahanati” was announced, audiences have one interesting point doing rounds in their minds. Will Jr NTR and Naga Chaitanya take up the roles of their granddads in the biopic? But they have smoothly refused and NTR stated that he doesn’t want to play his grandfather on screen as he cant do justice to the role.
However, NTR has this good friendship with veteran producer Ashwini Dutt’s daughter Swapna and upon her request, he will be now seen as Chief Guest for Mahanati. Today evening, we have the film’s audio release scheduled and we hear that Jr NTR is gracing the occasion to make it more special. There is buzz that even Naga Chaitanya will also join the event, making that the event has both NTR and ANR’s heirs turning up for a contemporary star of that times.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Mahanati has Keerthi Suresh wearing the shoes of legendary Savitri while Samantha will be seen as journalist Madhuravani who unveils her story.
