Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi’s gangster action drama They Call Him OG, directed by Sujeeth, has maintained strong momentum at the global box office despite a sharp drop on its first Monday. On day 5, the film collected Rs 7.5 crore in India, taking its domestic total to Rs 147.7 crore (including Rs 21 crore from paid previews).
In overseas markets, OG continues to perform strongly, contributing significantly to its global earnings. Combined with the domestic figures, the film’s worldwide total has now crossed Rs 230 crore, and by mid-week it is expected to breach the Rs 250 crore mark. This makes it the biggest box office success of Pawan Kalyan’s career, also marking his first film to achieve this global milestone.
While the Telugu version dominates collections, the dubbed Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada versions have added steady contributions. The challenge ahead lies in sustaining momentum through the weekdays and facing fresh competition from Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 this Thursday.
With its massive Rs 250 crore budget, They Call Him OG needs continued support from fans and a strong second weekend to be declared a clear hit.
