Producer Namit Malhotra has finally addressed the criticism surrounding his ambitious project Ramayana, particularly over the VFX quality.
Taking to social media, Namit shared a heartfelt note, assuring audiences that the team is actively working to improve the visual effects. He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response, calling it both humbling and inspiring.
He wrote that Ramayana is a story deeply rooted in the emotions of billions and deserves the highest level of care and respect. He emphasized that thousands of artists and collaborators are working passionately to deliver excellence across every department.
Highlighting the team’s commitment, he added that they are closely listening to audience feedback and are putting in every possible effort to meet expectations while maintaining the sanctity of the epic.
The film recently faced backlash after the first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram received criticism for subpar VFX in certain sequences.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features a stellar cast including Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey.
The film’s VFX is being handled by Oscar-winning studio DNEG, while the music brings together an extraordinary collaboration between A. R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer.
Despite the criticism, the makers remain confident that Ramayana will live up to its massive expectations with improved visuals and grand storytelling.
