Pooja Hegde Reveals Challenges Behind Coolie’s ‘Monica’ Song
Actress Pooja Hegde has given fans a sneak peek into the intense effort behind ‘Monica’, the vibrant song from her upcoming film Coolie. Taking to Instagram, the Radhe Shyam actress called it “one of the MOST physically toughest and demanding songs of my career.”
Pooja opened up about the grueling conditions on set — from extreme heat, harsh sunburns that left lasting tan lines, to high humidity, dust, and painful blisters. Adding to the challenge, this was also her first high-energy dance shoot after recovering from a ligament tear, making it even more demanding.
Despite the hurdles, Pooja said her goal was to ensure that the performance looked “glamorous and effortless” on screen.
“I gave my ALL to Monica, and I promise it’s going to be a blast to watch in theatres!” she wrote confidently.
She also gave a special shout-out to the background dancers, praising their unwavering energy, especially on the day of the shoot which coincided with Maha Shivratri, when she was fasting.
“You all were just amazingggg,” she appreciated, acknowledging their support through the physically taxing shoot.
With such dedication poured into the making of ‘Monica’, expectations are high, and fans are eagerly waiting to watch the magic unfold on the big screen.
