He emphasized discipline, respect for the craft, and took time to appreciate the entire cast, crew, and technical team for their dedication to the film.

However, the evening wasn’t entirely celebratory. Balakrishna addressed a sensitive incident from earlier this year, when a few fans were involved in an animal sacrifice during a film release. Speaking firmly, he urged fans to stop such acts. “Don’t harm animals. They also have a life like us,” he said— a statement widely welcomed on social media, with many hoping the message will finally resonate.

With excitement building through early glimpses, Akhanda 2 reunites Balakrishna with director Boyapati Srinu, alongside Pragya Jaiswal and Samyukta Menon. Thaman returns as the music composer, while 14 Reels Plus gears up for a grand worldwide release on December 5.
