The monsoon sessions of the Telangana assembly are off to yet another stormy start this morning. Barring the MIM MLAs and Congress party’s leader of opposition Jana Reddy, Speaker Madhusudhana Chari suspended all the MLAs belonging to TDP, BJP, YSRCP and the Left parties for severely disrupting the assembly proceedings, despite repeated requests even by the CM KCR.
Firstly, TRS minister of legislature affairs Harish Rao introduced the MLAs suspension motion. Acting on this, the speaker took the decision and all the suspended MLAs have been barred from attending all the sessions for this season. Soon after their suspension, all the MLAs started shouting protesting slogans like “Dongala Rajyam..Dopidi Rajyam”.
While 13 Congree MLAs were suspended, 7 TDP, 6 BJP and 1 MLA each from the Left parties were asked to leave the assembly hall. BJP’s Telangana president Kishan Reddy, TDP’s working president Revanth Reddy, TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, Komatireddy, Ram Mohan Reddy and YSRCP’s Sayam Venkateswarlu etc are the noted legislative MLAs out of 28 MLAs who have been suspended from the Assembly.
