This Sankranti season is going to be amazing with two biggies and one dubbing film locking horns with each other in theatres. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s is arriving with his mass masala entertainer titled ‘Waltair Veerayya’. Directed by Bobby Kolli, this movie has Ravi Teja playing a very crucial character. The introduction teaser of Mass Maharaj’s character got a very good response.
People are still unaware whether he will play a crucial role in the movie or ends up doing an extended cameo. The latest we hear is that Ravi Teja will be seen for about 42-44 minutes onscreen throughout the movie. Most of his scenes are reportedly in the combination with Megastar and there is a song named ‘Poonakalu Loading’ filmed on both of them as per sources. It will be released soon and the update over Ravi Teja’s character confirms that ‘Waltair Veerayya’ is definitely a multi-starrer film.
The latest we hear is that the movie’s first cut has been readied and the runtime is two hours and thirty five minutes. Devi Sri Prasad has reportedly started his re-recording work. This movie is hitting the screens on 13th January and the two songs which came out till date got a very good response. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, there are high expectations on this flick.
Arthur A Wilson is handling the cinematography. Niranjan Devaramane is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer. Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer. While the story and dialogue were written by Bobby himself, Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy penned the screenplay. The writing department also includes Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri.
