Megastar Chiranjeevi‘s Acharya would have hit the big screens this weekend – 13th May it wasn’t for Covid outbreak. In the wake of second wave of Covid, the film’s release has been postponed indefinitely.
Sources close to Acharya unit say the entire shooting has been completed already and all that is left is some minor patchwork which will be wrapped up in roughly 15 days once shoot resumes.
Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan will completing their portion of Acharya soon after the conditions favour film shootings.
The makers of the mega multi-starrer are planning to release the film in August if the situation permits. The final call on release will be taken only after the final cut is readied.
The Koratala Siva directorial stars Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde, and Kajal in lead roles.
