Following the phenomenal global success of RRR, visionary filmmaker SS Rajamouli continues to make waves internationally. The film, which became the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan, is once again capturing attention in the region with the release of its behind-the-scenes documentary, RRR: Behind and Beyond. As part of the promotional campaign, Rajamouli recently visited Japan and engaged in a series of interviews and media interactions.

During one of the interviews, when asked about the Indian films he is eagerly anticipating, Rajamouli revealed his excitement for three major upcoming projects: Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring NTR; Spirit, featuring Prabhas under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga; and Peddi, helmed by Buchi Babu Sana with Ram Charan in the lead. While Dragon and Peddi are currently in production, Spirit is set to commence shooting soon. Each of these films ranks among the most awaited releases in Indian cinema and is expected to make a strong impact at the box office, both domestically and internationally.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli is fully immersed in his next ambitious venture, tentatively titled SSMB 29, starring Superstar Mahesh Babu. The film has already completed key schedules in Hyderabad and Odisha. The ensemble cast also includes global icon Priyanka Chopra and acclaimed actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. Produced by KL Narayana under the Durga Arts banner, the film promises to be another landmark cinematic experience, with music by Academy Award-winning composer MM Keeravani.

With RRR: Behind and Beyond capturing hearts in Japan and SSMB 29 shaping up to be a massive spectacle, SS Rajamouli continues to cement his legacy as one of the most influential filmmakers in Indian and global cinema.
