Seems there is no end to the hatred between TDP and TRS even after they came to power after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. TRS before the general elections started sending love signals to Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP and dearly hoped for the party to come to power in Andhra Pradesh. 

With its predictions going avry it started spitting venom on ruling TDP Government in Andhra Pradesh in the name of Andhra Government cheating people of Telangana. With Chandra Babu Naidu as CM writing to Krishna Tribunal to direct Telangana Govt to stop generating power from Srisailam Project, Telangana ministers started attacking TDP. 

After attacking TDP office in Nalgonda, now TRS Minister Mahender Reddy warned that TRS will demolish TDP’s NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad with in single night. This came after TDP’s firebrand leader Revanth Reddy who has been taking on Telangana CM KCR in metro rail, warned after the party office in Nalgonda destroyed by TRS cadre that they will demolish TRS bhavan. 

People however are wondering when the two parties stop riding on the sentiments and issue vitrolic statements and get to real governance.

In a surprising rather unprecedented incident, a common man has issued a caution to none other than American President Barack Obama and made him speechless. The incident took place on Monday (US) when Obama was in Chicago to cast his vote in Illinois polls. 

A person named Mike has walked by and “teased” Mr Obama at the voting booth by saying, “Mr Presidnet, don’t touch my girlfriend,” when Mikes’ girlfriend Aia Cooper was next to Mr Obama and casting her vote. Fazed by this sudden caution, it took a while for Obama to understand that it was intended for “pun” and Obama too took it in his stride. “You know, I really wasn’t really planning on it,” Obama replied to Mike, his girlfriend with a grin. 

He added, “There’s an example of a brother just embarrassing me for no reason.” Aia instantly asked “excuse” from Mr president for her boyfriend’s behaviour and admitted that he was “fool”. It didn’t stop here. Obama further told to Aia, “Now you’ll be going back home and talking to your friends about this.” ‘I can’t believe Mike, he is such a fool.” However Obama acted smart by leaving room and told Aia, “Give me a kiss, give him something to talk about. Now he’s really jealous.” The lighthearted conversation was captured by media over there.

Rajahmundry: YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday visited the village in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district where fire at a firecracker-making unit recently claimed 17 lives. Reddy visited the accident site in Vakathippa village of the district’s Uppada Kothapalli mandal and also enquired about the health of the injured persons who are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kakinada. 

He met the family members of those who died in the blaze and assured them all help. East Godavari District Collector Neetu Prasad on Wednesday handed over cheques of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the deceased persons. However, Jagan said the compensation was inadequate and the kin of the deceased labourers should be given at least Rs five lakh each. 

Seventeen persons, including 14 women, had died of burn injuries in the mishap. Three others were undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kakinada, while one person was missing from the site, Prasad had said on Tuesday. 

She had earlier ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident. A case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and negligence under relevant sections of IPC besides under Explosives Act has been registered against K Apparao and Satya Varaprasad, the unit owners, police said. The private cracker unit is located at Vakathippa village under Uppada Kothapalli mandal near the district headquarters town of Kakinada, about 500 kms from Hyderabad.
