Govt Submits 627 Black Money Acc Holders Names to SC

Share
Top Judiciary of India, Supreme Court’s tough stance on black money account holders forced Government of India to submit the complete list of Indians having illegal accounts with foreign banks.
Modi’s government today submitted list of 627 black money account holders to the Supreme Court in a sealed cover. Court however refused to open the cover saying only Chairman and Vice Chairman of Special Investigation can open the envelope containing these names.
Mukul Rohatgi, Attorney General said the list contained the names of account holders in HSBC bank, Geneva provided by French Government. Yesterday Supreme Court became serious when Government provided only three names citing that any more details could jeopardize the probe into the black money. Supreme Court lashed out that Union Government is protecting black money holders.
Some experts however say SC encroached into Government’s sovereign treaty and could hamper the probe as the confidentiality clause has been broken. Already Germany protested against India and soon US and other countries may stop divulging the information.

After winning unopposed following the sudden and most tragic demise of her mother Sobha Nagireddy in a car accident, Akhila Priya spoke about her dreams and aspirations.
– People are seeing your Mother Sobha Nagireddy in you. How could you cope such huge burden?
AP- When my mother entered politics even she is just 26 years. Both of us made entry with just months difference. When my mother entered she had additional responsibilities like handling family and also bringing up children. My mom didnot get scared of them and I hope to work drawing inspiration from her.
– People may have lot of expectations from you.
AP-Yes. Mother gained lot of respect with her good work as a MLA. I should work hard to reach that stage. I should first study each and every subject in detail and I am prepared for it. When I step out in Allagadda, people are instilling courage and confidence in me remembering my mother. I feel as if I am with my mother in their company. I love to spend more time with them.
 – Your experiences on campaigning along with your mother .
AP – We three children campaigned for father and mother right from childhood. At that time we were excited. Now I noticed that people are gripped with sorrow and scares with out my mother. I saw courage only after they came to know that anyone from our family will enter into politics for them.
– What are your plans for Allagadda
AP – Mother penned what she wished to do for Allagadda in a diary. Those are not her plans for Allagadda but what people of Allagadda asked for. I came to know about the diary after her death. I wish to complete all of them.
– You planned to settle in Business before entering politics .
AP-Mother always told that it is good to provide employment to the people of the constituency. So we started diary farm and planned to start industries helpful for farmers.
– When did you come to know about your Mother’s following among people?
AP – Mother always looked like a house wife for us. She always felt that we shouldn’t miss her though she was in politics. She used to enquire us whether we had meals or slept according to time every hour where ever she was. She used to rush home when we fell sick. Only after she passed away, we came to know about the support she got among people of Allagaddda.
– Do you think as a elder daughter you should take care of your sister, brother and bring them up according to your mother’s dreams. Take care of your father? Are these your missions?
AP – My life’s mission will be decided the way a person lives and strives to reach his goals and missions. I am not missing anything in my life except my mother.

Swetha Basu Lessons For Cute Heroine

Share
Life and times of any heroine are example, inspiration and guide to the rest of heroines who follow. Because from everyone’s life there will be at least one single aspect others could learn and implement.
Right now, cute heroine Avika Gor is being discussed widely in film circles. Famous for her ‘Chinnari Pellikoothuru’ serial, Avika rose to fame with her first Telugu flick ‘Uyyala Jampala’. Now that she is coming up with ‘Lakshmi Rave Ma Intiki’, spot light is turned on her again. Many say that Avika is not controlling her weight and is failing to check some ‘commercial’ and ‘curvy’ facets she should focus on. Probably it’s time for her to check the case of Swetha Basu Prasad.
Talented heroine Swetha impressed everyone with her debut ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’. Later on she has put on loads of weight and turned plump, losing that cute girl charm on her face. This led to many directors, producers keeping her aside and finally she ended up in no-chances land. Hope Avika learns a lesson from this!

Is Aamir’s ‘PK’ Mix Of 2 Hollywood Films?

Share
Just like how we have Kamal Haasan here, Bollywood has got Aamir Khan who believes in adding a signature touch to his characters and the stories he chooses. No wonder he is called Mr Perfectionist of cinema. Now, Aamir is arriving with his new movie ‘PK’ and it is leading to different speculations.
Recently, the teaser and few stills of the film were unveiled and a new thought has risen. Some of them are stating if ‘PK’ is the mix of two Hollywood movies – ‘The Terminator’ and the Tom Hanks starrer ‘Forrest Gump’ albeit in a contemporary Indian society backdrop. Buzz is that Aamir is actually an alien in the movie.
Whatever the subject or genre many be, many strongly believe this film will be much better in content and subject than the SRK starrer ‘Happy New Year’ and would beat the first day collections with a wide margin. ‘Pk’ is due for release in the month of December and it is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The release will clarify all the doubts.

2 MPs, 2 MLAs likely to quit YSRCP

Share
In what is seen as a major set back to beleaguered YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party YSR Congress, 2 MPs and 2 MLAs are likely to quit his party. If reports are to be believed, three of them have serious plans to quit and already setting ground to join BJP. The 3-member list includes Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, Aatmakur MLA Mekapati Goutham Reddy and Bapatla MLA Kona Raghupati. The fourth name doing the rounds is that Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha.
Kothapalli Geetha has been staying away from all YSRCP activities from a while and openly stated that she will continue to work with TDP and BJP. She has already met Naidu twice and has been maintaining that development is only possible with the leadership of Chandrababu. A day after its party founding member Konathala Ramakrishna quit YSRCP, the reports of 2 MPs and 2 MLAs joining the bandwagon is definitely irking to Jagan and his hardcore fans.
It may be recalled that already Nandyal MP SPY Reddy has ditched Jagan soon after the election results and joined TDP fold even before Naidu sworn-in as Chief Minister. Already several senior leaders like Sabbam Hari, Dhadi Veerabhadra Rao, Jupudi Prabhakar have said bid adieu and we hear that many more people are likely to follow. We hear that Jagan Reddy’s one-man show and his “disrespect” towards senior leaders is said to be driving force for leaders to walk out of the party. It’s high time Jagan should realize and reconcile his way of function.

Telugu Media Upset With Sunny Leone

Share
World’s spiciest star and currently India’s ravishing heartthrob Sunny Leone is all set to woo Telugu audiences on October 31st as her ‘Current Theega’ is releasing. Due to Sunny’s sizzling presence, this flick became talk of town even in Bolywood circles. However, Telugu media folks are said to be upset with this hot lady.
Obviously TRPs will go high if at all Sunny Leone’s special interviews are aired on TVs. Irrespective of the content she speaks related to the movie, there are many youths who want to get a glimpse of her on TV though they will see her in ‘Current Theega’ anyway. But till date, Sunny has attended neither a press-meet of the movie nor given any special interview during shootings.
While the makers have spent a bomb, nearly 75 lakhs, to bring her into Tollywood, one wonders why she is not attending any promotions of this biggest ever release of talented hero Manchu Manoj. Naughty media folks are saying, “How come we miss shaking hands and saying a word with such international star?”
