Film hero-cum-TDP legislator, Nandamuri Balakrishna on Friday was all praise for his brother-in-law and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his excellent job in giving the cyclone affected people the much needed moral support and courage besides taking all steps to mitigate their sufferings for want of food and shelter. 

Balakrishna who was on a tour of the cyclone affected areas of the three North-coastal districts was interacting with the media and said that he was shocked beyond words on seeing the unprecedented havoc caused by the cyclone. He was saddened at the way the Vizag City, which was very popular with tourists, was completely wiped out of its greenery. The loss due to the devastation is unimaginable, he observed. He also handed a cheque for Rs 35 lakhs as his personal contribution to the CM’s Relief Fund.

Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao on Friday launched a scathing attack against his own party by describing Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee as a ‘Private Limited Company’. Addressing a press conference at Congress Legislature Party office here, VHR alleged that TPCC has been turned into a private entity with only a few leaders ‘enacting the drama’ of fighting against the TRS Government. 

He alleged that the leaders were not serious in their approach and were conducting symbolic protests. He said if they were really serious, then they would have invited the cadre and other senior leaders in their protests. He said he was not invited by the TPCC to join any of the protests held so far. 

Similarly, many other senior leaders have been ignored. VHR said if the Congress High Command permits, then he was ready to organise State-level protests against the TRS Government.

In what is seen as a remarkable help, Andhra Pradesh NGOs have come forward to donate a whopping Rs 125 Crore to government of Andhra Pradesh towards the relief and rehabilitation measures in three Hudhud-battered districts in Coastal Andhra. AP NGOs have offered to donate their two-day salary to CM Relief Fund. Corroborating it, AP NGOs president Ashok Babu said that employees have given it in written to cut their two-day salary for restoring normalcy in the affected regions. A formal letter regarding this has been handed over to Chief Secretary on Friday. 

Excluding the employees of APGENCO, APSRTC and TTD, APNGOs alone have contributed this huge donation. Ashok Babu said that Union government and State government can’t handle this situation alone without the support of employees. 

At a time, even star heroes are shelling out lakhs of rupees, government employees together contributing Rs 125 Crore is definitely bolt out of the blue and laudable. Well done guys, you have set new precedent.

It seems to be like really Congress party in deep sleep when there are so many issues going on in two states. Congress being in the opposition in the Central government seems to be calm and not too much noisy. When it comes to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the scene is the same. Now, when it comes to Telangana Congress leaders, most of them are very much interested to jump into TRS rather than being a tough opposition party. 

There are only senior leaders who question the government once in a while which actually means nothing to the party. Presently, there is no voice of T-Congress leaders in any of the issue, whereas TDP is better than Congress participating actively in any protest in support of people. In Andhra Pradesh, the situation is even more worst! All the leaders have lost total hope of winning in Andhra and seem to plan a holiday tour with the family. 

Many reputed leaders have lost their charm and only conduct a few meetings themselves, have fun and go back home. When the cyclone hit the state, not even a single ex-minister or leader from Congress came in rescue of the people. They were actually making preparations for Rahul’s visit to Vizag! What is this?  

So, with this kind of attitude Congress is surely going to be buried deep in ground after just a few years if this still continues. The party have not planned of any meeting to improve their present political situation. They have been lazy lumps and remain to be. Will there be any change in the leaders? Or is the party almost drowned? Can Congress come back to power?

TRS Chief K Chandra Sekhar Rao leaded Telangana government will be in the first place for taking wild decisions to destroy the signs created in Hyderabad by earlier government during united Andhra. Past ruling governments like TDP, Congress, BJP, etc are claiming that their respective governments only developed Hyderabad and they are showing some proofs like Hi-tech City, IMAX Multiplex, Jalavihar, etc., Now, TSR government is trying to renovate the Hyderabad city for destroying the land marks created by earlier governments during united Andhra. 

Latest news from Telangana secretariat is that, Telangana State government is likely to take a key decision on shifting IMAX and Jalavihar. It is learnt that the Government has been planning to shift the landmark IMAX multiplex and Jalavihar to some other place. The government is also thinking with the idea of relocating Jalavihar complex on Necklace Road to some other place. 

These developmental changes are likely to take place keeping in mind the Supreme Court’s earlier verdict on ruling government which stated that cultural heritage of Hyderabad city must be protected at any cost. TRS party supporters saying that KCR doesn’t want to shift IMAX & Jalavihar, but earlier Supreme Court verdict on both places forcing him to do so. Is really KCR shifting plan is because of Supreme Court verdict or any secret behind it? Only KCR & co knows the actual reason behind this shifting plan!!!

When Bangalore Special Court sentenced former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha to jail convicting her in the 18 year old disproportionate assets case, many right thinking people celebrated thinking that finally justice prevailed and reminded all ‘better late than never’.

When Bangalore High Court rejected her bail petition even after CBI didnot object to her conditional bail plea, many hailed Indian judiciary. However Supreme Court today shocked all by granting her interim bail. Top court suspended Jayalalitha’s sentence for two months but set tough conditions asking her to submit all documents and its translated copies to Karnataka High Court. 

It also warned that if Jayalalitha fail to follow its orders, she will be sent packing to jail. Court also asked Jayalalitha to refrain her party members from making instigating comments against the trial judge and also incite in violence. 

Experts say Jayalalitha got bail as Supreme Court took into consideration following points. She is a diabetic patient and is a senior citizen, has health complications, being female is also another advantage and last but not the least she is former CM and is in constant threat from terror outfits and is having z plus security.

Holy shrine of Rajahmundry is soon turning into IT hub. With Hudhud cyclone hitting Visakhapatnam severely, many IT companies got severely affected as communication systems got severely affected the steel city.

IT companies which cannot stop their operations for long started looking for alternatives and started operating from Rajamundry. Already 30 out of 75 IT companies in Vizag started their backoffice operations from Rajahmundry. Around 30 employees from each of these companies are operating from Rajahmundry. 

IT industry is also looking at Rajahmundry as alternate IT hub to Visakhapatnam and CM Chandra Babu Naidu’s announcement earlier to make Rajahmundry as IT hub is viewed in a positive manner. Software companies are saying that if Govt provides necessary infrastructure, then they are open to turn Rajahmundry into IT hub.

Telangana CM KCR who conducted arial survey in Yadagiri Gutta showered lot of offers to people of the region. He said he will turn Yadagiri Gutta as Tirumala with in two years by developing it in the lines of Tirupathi. He said just like TTD, he will turn the holy city of Yadagiri Gutta to Temple City. 

He said he will construct gardens, marriage halls, cottages in 2000 acres in Yadagiri Gutta just like in Tirumala Tirupathi. He said down the hill, he will make a forest in 400 acres by combining lakes and other small hills. He said he will construct a Veda School and from now onwards Telangna CM will follow a practice of providing pattu clothes to the Lord Narasimha Swami. 

He said he will provide drinking water by constructing a water grid. He said he will ask all corporates in Hyderabad to be part of this dream project to develop Yadagiri Gutta as TTD.

Right after facing wrath of Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu for not restoring telecom and network services in Andhra Pradesh affected by Hudhud cyclone devastation, telecom operators announced free talk time in the affected regions. 

Almost all leading telecom operators like Aircel, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone started working jointly for the restoration of the services. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Bharti Airtel Chairman flew to Visakhapatnam to oversee restoration operations. 

Mobile companies provided 30 minute free talk time to customers and also offering an advance talk time facility up to Rs.50 in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram districts. Chandra Babu praised the gesture of the telecom companies. Telecom companies announced that they are providing PCOs at relief camps and people can also charge their mobiles un interrupted at the places.

Everyone knows that there is no love lost between YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and current Andhra Pradesh CM and TDP president Chandra Babu Naidu. Allegations and counter allegations flew between each other and even now the two forget about smiling at each other but never make even eye contact.

In such a situation Telangana state unit of the party shocked its president Jagan Mohan Reddy by passing Chandra Babu Naidu. YSRCP Telangana incharge Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy praised AP CM for handling the state’s power situation. He blasted Telangana CM KCR for lacking such vision and acumen to solve Telangana power crisis. He said KCR is responsible for thousands of farmers suicide due to power problem. 

Wonder how Jagan Mohan Reddy react to such praises of his bitter rival from his own party leader.

Chandrababu Naidu’s past is now returning him favours and helping the people of Vizag, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram. Neighbour Orissa government has deployed over 300 personnel in AP to actively participate in the relief measures of Hudhud cyclone. Chief Minister of Orissa Naveen Patnaik personally called on over 300 personnel and told them to work rigorously for Andhra Pradesh. Naveen apparently asked them to work as though they’re working for their own state.

This has something to do with Naidu’s previous act when he was CM for undivided AP. Chandrababu has helped Orissa a lot when similar cyclone hit in 1999. When cyclone devastated Cuttak, Puri and other districts then, Naidu sent rescue and relief team including expert road-clearing unit, a group of electricians and a team of 50 doctors and 400 paramedics. By the time, Orissa governmet acted, Naidu has revived the normal situation. 

Keeping this in mind, Naveen Patnaik has now returned favour. Offering help to one another in tough times is certainly a good thing and kudos to Naidu for initiating this.
