Telangana Tableaux rejected for Republic Day?
Hopes of Telangana state for highlighting its cultural heritage during the first Republic Day parade in Delhi for 2015 after the new state formation was dashed with the reports that the ministry of Defence had rejected its proposal for a tableau based on Bonalu festival.
Despite CM K Chandrasekhar Rao conveying to Defence Minister Arun Jaitely that the government should consider the Telangana tableau for the R-Day parade, the selection committee seems to have taken off the new state’s proposed tableau from this shortlist. What is causing more heartburn for fledgling state is that residuary Andhra Pradesh is among 21 states in the country, which have been invited for the selection committee meeting that was called for on October 28.
Telangana officials are shocked that they weren’t even officially informed why the state’s choice was eliminated. Andhra Pradesh is heading to selection committee with its tableau based on harvest festival Sankranti. Sources say that a crestfallen Telangana government is now planning to approach court after this has come as shocker for Telangana as the Bonalu model was shortlisted in the last meeting held on October 7.

Is Modi’s social media team resorting to plagiarism and copyright violation? Yes, says US based Nepali photographer Bimal Nepal. Narendra Modi is one of the active member of social networking site twitter and he used to convey his messages to the world by using the medium effectively. Now NaMo comes under criticism for copying the images of others.Modi wished all his followers for Dantheras festival by posting a photograph which shows candles arranged in S shape.
Now a US based Nepali photographer alleged that the photo was taken by him and Modi’s team lifted it from his account.He mentions that the photo was clicked in the dining room of his Cambridge Massachusetts home with help of his daughter Abina who set up the Diwali lights on the floor. By posting the photograph Nepal wrote in Facebook ‘’This photograph has been used by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Facebook page. I shot this photo in my dining room last year with the help of my daughter Abina. She set up the candle lights on Diwali in our home in Cambridge Massachusetts.
I am truly honored!My greatest question and concern is – there is no credit for the photographer?! What will happen so called © copyright issue? He did not ask for the permission. Any suggestion?’’ Interestingly, Nepal is a fan of Modi, but doesn’t approve the way the photo was used without informing him. “I am one of the greatest fans of Mr. Modi but how he uses this photo is totally unacceptable. I am looking for compensation and the appropriate credit,” Said Nepal Nepal has found support from many on social media who have urged him to raise the issue with Modi’s office. SS Rajamouli didn’t utter a word till now about his next film ‘Bahubali’ ever since he announced the project. But, yesterday on the eve of Prabhas Birthday he revealed few interesting updates and truths about the venture. The ace director openly said apologies to Prabhas fans for keeping his fans to wait from years.
Speaking about his upcoming film Baahubali, Rajamouli said “I would like to apologize to Prabhas’ fans for keeping your hero away from you for almost years. Prabhas is portraying a larger-than-life role in Baahubali and it will not be an easy task for us to take things as expected without delay.You will never disappoint with the film and I hope you will forgive me after watching him on big screen”.
Baahubali is going to be a socio fantasy and will be made on a lavish scale. Macho Star Rana Daggubati will be playing an antagonist. Voluptuous Anushka who earlier romanced Prabhas in Billa & Mirchi is going to pair with Prabhas once again for this periodic drama.

Karthikeya caught the attention of film buffs with interesting promos. Nikhil who scored a good hit with his previous film Swamy Ra Ra spent more than a year on this film directed by debutante Chandoo Mondeti. New director doesn’t let Nikhil down. Karthikeya is a well made thriller that hooks you from the word go.
Story :
Karthik (Nikhil) is a medico who is curious about everything. He goes to Subramanyapuram on a medical camp and comes to know about people dying when they try to find details about the shut down temple. Karthik tries to unfold the mystery and find the truth behind that mysterious temple.
Performances:
Nikhil: Nikhil has evolved as an actor and this is yet another feather in his cap. This is easily Nikhil’s best performance till date. His styling also needs a special mention. By picking up films like Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya, Nikhil is heading in the right direction. He will surely go places if he keeps on making such novel attempts.
Swathi: Swathi has very little scope in this film. All she had to do is look cute in every single frame. Somehow she looked out of place in it. Others: Praveen is good as the sidekick of the protagonist. Rao Ramesh plays a brief yet important role. Tanikella Bharani is apt. Jogi Naidu and rest of the cast did well within their limitations.
Technicalities:
Direction: Debutante Chandoo Mondeti impressed in every aspect. He has very good grip over all the crafts and made a quality product within the budget limitations. He chose a different concept for his debut film and that speaks volumes about his capabilities. It is easy for someone to play it safe by taking the beaten path. Instead Chadoo chose to do something different from many others and does it well. He is a talent to watch out for.
Others: Music by Sekhar Chandra is very good. Background score plays vital role in taking the movie to another level. Cinematography is equally good. VFX team deserves accolades for their brilliance. Karthikeya is a technically sound film with every department putting in their best efforts.

Analysis:
Karthikeya’s plot revolves around a mysterious temple and the director maintains the suspense until pre climax. It is very tough to insert comedy into serious plots like these, but the director made sure that there is ample situational comedy in the film. First half of the film is engaging as well as entertaining.
Second half has some thrilling sequences involving a serpent. Director explained the theory of animal hypnotism in a convincing way. Karthikeya hooks you until the penultimate scenes with interesting screenplay. Climax is a letdown though. It is a bit rushed without proper buildup. We expect more from the climax as the director sets the bar high until that point. Another weak link in the movie is the romantic thread between Swathi and Nikhil.
Director didn’t pay much attention to this sub plot. Despite blemishes, Karthikeya makes a fine watch with engrossing plot. This is the right film for audience who are desperate to watch something different from the routine. Karthikeya has the potential to give another hit to Nikhil and Swathi. Go for it.
Verdict: A Good attempt by the Debutant.
Foreigners Rave Party on Diwali Night in Hyderabad
Pub culture is increasing in Hyderabad thanks to software boom some decades back. Youngsters partying in the weekends have become a common sight. However this is leading to a bad culture of rave parties in the name of get-together.
According to the latest Hyderabad cops claim to have busted a rave party at city outskirts in Medchal. Police conducted raid on Honeyberd Resorts located in Muraripalli, Medchal. While Nigerians say it was just a get together, police say they acted on the complaint of the neighbours who were disturbed by the high decibel sounds.
According to sources more than 70 Nigerians were seen partying but when police raided many managed to escape. Police arrested 17 Nigerians which included 6 women. Eyewitness say they were seen dancing to obscene dances consuming liquor.
8 Film Old Hero Surprises Prakash Raj!!!
‘Honestly, Ram Charan has bowled me out with his brilliant acting just in his 8th film. I’m a national award winner and I can easily say about the efforts he is pooled in for the role in Govindudu Andarivadele’, says versatile actor Prakash Raj, who feels that the mega powerstar has stunned in the role of Abhiram.
Of course, this young mega hero has to deliver his best because he has to match the likes of Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and Srikanth who are sharing space with him in almost every scene in GAV. Charan says, ‘This is the film an actor has to do at least once in his lifetime. I’m glad that it happened to me at early stage in my career’. Surely this Abhiram role would improvise his acting capabilities for the future.
Complimenting his performance Prakash added, ‘Every star hero’s 8th film happens to be a flop, but Charan broke the jinx with this outstanding movie and terrific performance’. If it is coming from Prakash Raj, then surely we have to believe it. Let us see if Charan continues this improvised acting in his next flicks too.

Nokia Lumia No More?
Nokia Lumia is likely to be no more. Microsoft instead is going to step into Nokia’s shoes and if reports are anything to go by, Microsoft already announced that Microsoft Lumia is the new brand name replacing Nokia as the software maker. The change followed a slow transition from Nokia.com over to Microsoft’s new mobile site. This change comes just months after Microsoft has bought the Finnish company’s handset business.
This is said to be part of Microsoft’s rebranding exercise “country-by-country”, instead of doing it in one-sweep globally. The first brand change will happen in France, where, over the coming days, the Nokia name will be replaced on its Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts by “Microsoft Lumia”, the new brand identity. “We are on the verge of becoming Microsoft Lumia,” Nokia France’s Facebook page announced in French. More information will be shared soon, it added. The transition will happen in India by the end of this year, divulge sources in the know.
However, it’s not clear how Microsoft will label its future Windows phones as existing Lumia devices carry the Nokia logo at the front and back typically. Whenever you look at some awesomely designed weapons onscreen, you know that it is the film of the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli. He has developed a signature style of coming up with weapons that you can hardly imagine. But it appears that Rajamouli has got a contemporary in the neighbourhood.
He is none other than the Tamil director Hari who has come up with films like ‘Yamudu’ and the latest one ‘Pooja’. Sources from Kodambakkam (that’s the filmnagar of Kollywood) reveal Hari has a penchant for coming up with variety weapons and here is the interesting part.
It is heard that he has a collection of different mock weapons at his home and whenever a hero is signed up for his movie, he has the choice of selecting one weapon and that is used in the film. Known for his hardcore masala potboilers, Hari seems to be heading the right way in delivering what the masses want and elevating the star stature of heroes.
Samantha’s ‘K-Dreams’ Knocked Down
Samantha who tasted tremendous success in Tollywood and attained superstardom with films like Manam after making sensational debut Ye Maya Chesave, however failed to replicate the same in her motherland Kollywood.
Recently her Sikander with Surya didnot set Kollywood on fire and according to the latest even her latest entertainer with Vijay, kaththi under Murugadoss met the same fate(no importance for Samantha’s Role) though the film got good openings.
It is a mystery which even Samantha couldn’t understand why she is unable to attain stardom in K-Town. A Kollywood film critic says “Her ill-conceived role lacked enough meat and deprived her opportunity to showcase her talent and just ended up as a glam prop, so its another disappointment for Sam”.
He even adviced Samantha to stick to Tollywood where she enjoys stardom and try her luck in K-Town ignoring Telugu films.
