The teaser of Ram Charna’s Govindudu Andari Vadele is finally out. It’s breathe of fresh air with a lot of positive vibes in it. Visuals are refreshing while the music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is soothing. It has Krishna Vamsi’s trademark-style touch to family entertainer and recalls you the director’s previous films Murari, Chandamama. Featuring Ram Charan (Govindudu) in the role of a village chap and Kajal Aggarwal as his romantic interest, he 40-seconds teaser of Govindudu Andari Vadele sends signals that the movie has a lot to offer.

Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Kamlini Mukherjee play equally prominent roles. Bandla Ganesh is planning to release the music on Sep 15 and movie is due for release on October 1. He is coming!

Regina Cassandra, the dusky siren from neighboring Kollywood has huge expectations from Tollywood. After proving her glamorous presence, she is waiting to scale heights and capture that top slot effortlessly. But with her latest effort turning futile, she is back to waiting mode.

Unarguably, ‘Power’ is not going to give Regina the much needed break in Tollywood, as her role lacks intensity and huge wrapping of story around it. Also Power is a routine fare with Raviteja’s histrionics dominating the show all the way, and songs aren’t much interesting. Even Regina’s one and only song in the flick didn’t get enough screen time for masses to cherish her beauty.

If we have to say in a word, Power will not be giving that break to Regina to lock horns with competition. Because the flick is a pure show of Ravi and heroines are just filling the little spaces on screen. Bagging couple of plum projects should help her anyway.

Surely, no star comedian who have had a song on his name ‘brahmi dance’, we are talking about he fun song in the climax of “Power”. Albeit, its just single stanza and ripped from famous Lungi dance number, but still its a nice tribute to ace comedian, who has been entertaining Telugu viewers for the last few decades.

As in the song, he is ‘Tendulkar for comedy’ and very few would disagree with such a big comparison and he himself joining the dance, was even more exciting. Kudos to Ravi Teja, who didn’t mind his colleague, hogging some limelight, and even director Bobby deserves a pat on his back, for conceiving such an idea and executing it well. Hat’s off to Brahmi for his comic-timing, expression and making viewers to forget all their problems once he appears on screen and mesmerizes them with his skills. Good idea indeed.

Youngster Akhil from the famous Akkineni stable made a staggering impact on audiences with his cameo in ‘Manam’. But that doesn’t put any end to the speculations over his debut flick as a leading hero.

Neither Akhihl nor Nagarjuna has come to any conclusion over this most awaited ‘debut’ hero of Tollywood. Except rumours like a film under Deva Katta’s direction or Vikram Krishna’s direction, there is no real thing happening. Few days back it was publicized that Nag got impressed with ‘Alludu Seenu’ and requested VV Vinayak to launch Akhil similarly in a mass-way. Despite all these rumours, Akhil and Nag always maintained that a script is yet to be finalized.

We hear that in 6 more days, Akhil’s debut flick is going to be launched. On the eve of ANR’s birthday on September 20th, Nagarjuna wants to hold ‘muhurat’ event of his younger son’s debut flick. We’ll get to know who is directing him on that day, if this ‘launching’ event is not a rumour.

Writer-director-actor Posani Krishna Murali shared interesting tidbits about his life and film career. Talking about his transition from direction to acting, Krishna Murali recalled, “After doing few small-time roles, director Krish Jagarlamudi wanted me for a role in his film Vedam. Since his previous film Gamyam was hit, sensible and they agreed to pay me well, I took up the offer. During the shooting of Vedam, Anushka used to laugh on the sets due to my acting. Even Allu Arjun too couldn’t restrict but laughed very much.”

“Allu Arjun then asked me to not to direct films and wanted me to continue as an actor. He said he was impressed with my acting. I didn’t take it seriously then. I thought he was complimenting me casually. Later, I proved myself as an actor. My role Tippu Sultan in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum earned me accolades and took me to the new level as actor. Now, I’m busy with handful of offers,” added Posani in a TV interview.

2014’s much-awaited film Aagadu is all set to hit the theatres on September 19 as per schedule. The movie has been cleared by the regional Censor Board with U/A certification. Buzz is that the movie is out-and-out laugh riot along with right doses of action in place.

After losing his way with different genre in “Nenokadine”, superstar Mahesh Babu will be back in his elements in a flamboyant role in “Aagadu” and good opportunity for the actor to surpass Pawan’s 75 crore record breaking hit “Atharintiki..”. If he can convert his cop story into the biggest hit in the annals of T-town.

With midas touch director Srinu Vytla for company, the actor-duo who already have 60 cores hit ‘Dhookudu’ under their belt, need to pull another 15 to 16 crores, to show his supremacy among Telugu viewers.

The film should do well in Nizam and collect more than 26 crore (25 crore of Atharintiki) and also in overseas it should grab 12 to 13 crores (10.5 crore for Atharintiki) and around, 35 crores from Andhra and Ceded and 7 to 8 crores in Karnataka and Tamilnadu, to enable Okkadu star to surpass the magic figure. Game is set to begin in few days, fasten your seat belts.

The much talked about multi star film in combination of junior ntr, Nagarjuna in the direction of Vamsy Paidipally has got a sudden twist in the tale with Tarak opting to go out. In the same reporting, Prasad Vara Potluri of PVP Cinema signed Tamil hero Karthi as a replacement to NTR in this high budget project.

The campaign will be kick started with a grand event on the evening of September 13 in Shilpa Kala Vedika (Saturday evening). Not long ago, Amala Akkineni too pledged to donate organs. And already many Bollywood stars like Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan have taken up the noble cause.

Unfortunately, Bobby struck to a cocktail of olden hits from Raviteja and other heroes making ‘Power’ a mix masala film of ‘Vikramarkudu, Don Seenu, Kick, Munna’ etc.

Not just restricted to ‘Power,’ even the last week release of Junior NTR ‘Rabhasa’ fallen into the same category of cocktails. Thankfully, audiences have given a right thumping defeat for the film. Well, it is too early to estimate the BO span of ‘Power’ but at the same time a couple of rejections from Telugu audience must help writers to open their eyes else our so called mass star heroes are becoming dummies with these stories. God should save TFI.
