Ever since Shankar announced a film with actor Vikram, there has been huge hype around the film. And after waiting for a while, the teaser of the most-awaited flick ‘I’ is finally out. The one-minute slick teaser showcases Vikram in myriad roles such as a dreadful beast, an ugly physically challenged, muscular gymnastic and handsome ultra-modern guy. And Vikram fits the bill, not just in one role, but in all of them. His romantic interest in the film Amy Jackson looks hot, sexy. 

PC Sreeram cranks his camera well and  captures the emotions brilliantly. AR Rahman’s background score keeps it going. Especially, the special effects stand out in the film. Director Shankar, who has a knack over visual effects, designed the movie in such a way that it is no less than high-budget Hollywood films. And probably, this would be India’s answer to Hollywood.

Simply put, the teaser is mind-boggling. However, it raises pertinent questions, of course, that is the sole purpose of teaser- to raise the curiosity. Made on whopping Rs 180 Crore, the movie is being released in both Telugu and Tamil. Shankar seems to have splurged his magnificent stuff all over the film. ‘I’ is the one film that is to watch out for the year 2014.

Whenever Producer Bandla Ganesh attends an audio launch, his speech is the speech that most people watch out for. And he didn’t disappoint his “fans” on Monday as well during the audio launch of Govindudu Andari Vadele.

Bestowing praises on Ram Charan, Ganesh said, “Surekha garu you have given birth to a Kohinoor diamond. The light emitted from this diamond help producers like me survive for years. 29-year-old Charan has waited for my project for 8-long months and he didn’t don grease paint till then just only for the commitment he has given to me to do a film with me.”

Ganesh said how hard it was to “impress” Ram Charan and get his dates.  “I had ran after him for longtime and put a lot of pressure on him to get his dates. I did dance to his tune Dillaku Dillaku to floor Little Boss (Ram Charan),” shared an excited Bandla Ganesh. Throughout Ganesh’s speech, Mega Star Chiranjeevi, actor Ram Charan were seen gushing for his “overpraises”.

Top comedian in Tollywood is now in news for misbehaving with an upcoming anchor in Telugu small screen. It seems that this anchor is known for her glamorous dressing style and she was on peaks in the recent times.

As per the reports, this comedian misbehaved with her by asking her to come to his caravan and to spend time in the night with him. Even though the anchor shot back with a strong ‘No’, this comedian didn’t stop his comments and talks.

Finally, she got fed up with this comedian and raised complaint against him in the small screen circuit. Even though, small screen officials didn’t put this matter out to the media, they have reportedly gave strong warning to the comedian. They didn’t reveal the names of the comedian and the anchor citing the brand values they are carrying at present in the industry.

Posani Murali Krishna, the actor who is now the most busiest actors in Tollywood, says that Anushka is the woman behind his success. In just 4 days span, Posani got around 36 film offers in Tollywood and he accepted majority of them. Directors and producers are considering this comedian just because, his way of acting impresses all age group audience.

Although, Ravi Teja is a star of his own and can commence a considerable collections for his films, but directors are playing spoil sport to his career. Apart from facing stiff competitions from linear stars like Pawan, Mahesh, NTR and Ram Charan, the Balupu star is suffering due to few directors who are overspending. Even though, Balupu was declared huge hit, but producers PVP lost few crores due to extra-expenditure by director Gopichand.

And now its turn of writer-turned-director Ravindra, to cause loses for producer Rockline Venkatesh, as he went beyond the specified budget limit. “Both Balupu and Power have surely suffered overspending and didn’t leave any table profit to producers, despite a bankable star like Ravi Teja,” shares a source. Its better for Ravi to work with directors, who stick to the limits, than taking blame, for no fault of his.

Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate and the film is on schedule for 19th Sept release. Getting U/A (Kids allowed to watch it under Parental Guidance) certificate is going to be the greatest advantage for Aagadu. Many of our recent mass entertainers couldn’t get away from A certificate.

Recent biggies like Power and Rabhasa were given A certificates and that has an impact on the respective movies collections at multiplexes. All the multiplexes across AP and Telangana strictly don’t allow kids to watch the films that were certified A by the Censor Board. Also some parents hesitate to take their kids to the films that were certified A.

Aagadu will not have such problems as it was awarded U/A. Mahesh Babu is a popular star among the kids. Srinu Vytla took care not to have any elements that may get an A certificate. Aagadu has clear edge at the Box Office, especially at the multiplexes with this.

It’s a surprise Monday for actor Suriya as he happened to meet none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. When Suriya made his way into the gym at Hotel Leela Palace in the wee hours, like everyday, he bumped into Arnold who is already working out in the gym. Brother of producer Aascar Ravindran Ramesh Babu was accompanying Arnold and Ramesh immediately introduced Suriya to Arnold where they both shared few light moments.

Suriya, who is staunch follower of Arnold’s Body building tips, rushed to his home which is just few streets away from Leela Palace and brought Arnold’s book on body building. Arnold was so much surprised and elated to see his book with Suriya and he autographed his signature on the opening page.

Arnold has landed in Chennai at 3 AM and he has been accommidated at Hotel Leela Palace in Chennai. He is on his visit to the audio launch of Shankar’s I.

Looks like Shankar is preparing the audience for what is in store rather shocking them in the theaters.

Vikram’s Beast look was revealed couple of days back and that has shocked one and all. Now here is another poster of the film in which Vikram looks Horrifying and completely unrecognizable. This poster has just multiplied the expectations on the film. Trailer of this film will be launched tonight at the audio launch.

Meanwhile audio of Tamil I is already out and getting superb response from all circles. I is going to be dubbed in Telugu with the same title. Earlier Shankar thought of releasing in Telugu as Manoharudu. But he decided to go with I.

Raviteja’s Power had a wonderful first weekend at the box office. The estimated first weekend share of this film is around fifteen crore rupees. Power opened strongly on Monday too. Most of the screens registered more than seventy percent attendance for the morning shows on Monday.

So Power has successfully passed the Monday test and going for a strong first week share. As per trade estimates, it would collect more than 20 crore share in its first week. This is the best ever opening for Raviteja. However real test for Power will start in the second week. It would have to lock horns with super hot Aagadu and sustain the tempo at the Box Office.

Power is particularly doing very well in B and C centers. Mass audience liked Raviteja’s powerful act as Baladev Sahay. It had a very strong weekend in Class centers too. Final range of the film can be decided only after seeing the effect of Aagadu on it. As per trade reports it will definitely become the biggest grosser among Raviteja’s films.

Ace director Dasari Narayana Rao cautioned Manchu Manoj that he is taking too much risk while doing stunts, fights. Talking at the audio launch of Current Theea, Dasari asked Manoj to use “safe” and “simple” techniques rather than relying on risky ones.

Dasari suggested, “Manoj should do various roles in his career. He has completed 10-years in film industry and still he has to go a longway. In my opinion, an actor career takes turn only after 10-years. So, Current Theega is special for Manoj. I’d like to see him in roles like Sardar Paparayudu, Katakala Rudrayya.”

Dasari said that Manchu family is close to him. He also said that Lakshmi Manchu is “more” talented among all the Manchus.

The other day action hero Gopichand too resorted to such sensational statements at the audio launch function of ‘Loukyam’ held at Vijayawada city. He has expressed confidence that he will be beating Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi with his latest movie.

‘Vijayawada happens to be my Attaya’s residential town. So, I’m confident that my ‘Loukyam’ will become as big hit as Attarintiki Daredi’, said Gopichand. Of course, Loukyam is a routine masala and even Pawan Kalyan’s AD is also little routine. But what made it a stupendous hit is the astounding craze of Powerstar and his gigantic fan base. Also his subtle performance in the movie is never seen before and that connected with everyone including family audiences. Will Gopichand amass such craze and beat AD?

These days movies are running solely on ‘entertaining’ content, laced with masala and glamour. Perhaps audiences stopped asking for a variety of stories and habituated to routine stuff our directors will make. Even ‘Loukyam’ looks similar, and has all chances to go on becoming a blockbuster, but industry hit, we have to hold on.

Amidst growing criticism that she has been “using” her ex-husband Pawan Kalyan’s name for publicity, actress-turned-director Renu Desai has finally responded. Hitting back at her critics, Renu made it clear that she hardly took “support” of anyone for her debut production last year. Renu also reminded that she herself a “famous” model and actress before.

Renu Desai wrote on her social-networking page, “This is for the extra smart ppl who think I am using Pawan Kalyan’s name to get famous…I produced a hit film last year without any help or support from anyone, for which Kalyan garu is very proud of me… I have also been a famous model & actress before…so pls rest your over active brains and use that same energy for some social work… have a happy fun filled Sunday everyone…”
