He stated, “My father had participated in Jai Andhra movement along with Venkaiah Naidu. Venkaiah was the man who played instrumental role in bringing Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan to Nellore.” Pawan lauded the activities of Swarna Bharat Trust.
Padma Bhushan For Pawan Kalyan?

Will Telangana Minister Be Part Of Andhra CockFights?
For Telangana senior leader Talasani Srinivas Yadav, participating in cockfights in Andhra Pradesh has been a tradition for many years. He never misses to made it to popular cock-fights held in Godavari districts every year during Sankranthi festival.
Last year too he participated and assured his friends, colleagues that he’d return the next year. But things have changed over the last one year. Besides carving out of Telangana state, Talasani has quit TDP and switched over to ruling TRS.
Now, he is one among KCR’s cabinet and handling Commercial Taxes, Cinematography portfolios. Since he’s no more with TDP and now also a member of KCR’s cabinet, it’s unclear whether Talasani will participate in this year’s cockfights.
Adding to this, High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad ordered to ban cockfights and the issue is now pending in Supreme Court. It needs to be seen whether Talasani follows age-old tradition or gives it up on these backgrounds.
