Ravi Teja lost his cool?

Share

Ravi Teja

It was unbelievable because it was star Ravi Teja who gave a writer Bobby, big break as a director, but it seems that they developed some creative differences and particularly in a overseas shooting, the rift reportedly led to big arguments and Balupu star has to be pacified by the unit members later, on the star and director are reportedly not in best of terms as the film “Power” is staled for release soon.

Almost like his onscreen persona, Ravi Teja is quite a friendly and tries to resolve issues in professional manner, but rarely, we have heard of him, losing his cool, but this time around, he got pissed of and blasted the director, for not sticking the scenes, that were approved before hand. Let’s hope, that such minor differences haven’t affected the 25-crore film, since more than Ravi (who is already a star) its writer turned director’ career would be at stake.

Is This ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ Making Sense?

Share

bucket

Its madness, fun and exciting as it brings attention. This is what we have to say about ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ as the fever grips on India’s top celebs and famous persons. On the flipside, there are hotties like Priyanka Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha, who proved that this challenge isn’t making any sense.

First of all, most of USA and Europe experience heavy cold and snowfall in the coming days making inhabitants feel uneasy to drench in cold water. As far as India is concerned, for the kind of hot climate we have, this ice-cube pouring seems simple. So the challenge makes sense in those countries but not in sub-continent. More than that, is anyone worried about the water scarcity we have, before dripping in ice? Underground water is depleting, open wells are drying up and municipal water supply is limited even in cities like Mumbai and Hyderabad. Are our celebs taking a note of this? Those who take up ice-bucket challenges are failing to create awareness about saving water, on how to use every drop productively.

Star heroine Priyanka Chopra publicly refused to take any certain challenges, as she felt like wasting water is not what India needs. Even voluptuous Sonakshi Sinha too advised same thing but by dropping a single ice-cube over her head, point out the scarcity of water. So we leave the choice to our celebs only.

Ability to identify talent, knack to project positive features of an actor is what a sensible director should have. When Chiranjeevi entered film industry through ‘Punadi Raallu’ movie, not many know that director K Raghavendra Rao predicted that he will become a big star. Not just star, today he became a history, a legend without whom Tollywood’s modern era goes unnoticed.

Ask K Raghavendra Rao about what lead him to predict such a wonderful future for a youngster named Siva Shankara Vara Prasad alias Chiranjeevi. His reply is awesome. ‘When Chiranjeevi was working on Punadi Raallu, producer Kranthi Kumar happened to show me his photo shoot. I’ve immediately noticed Chiru’s powerful eyes, which are just powerful and striking’, says KRR, admitting that ‘eyes’ has done whole magic for Chiru. Also the veteran director is amazed by Megastar’s dances, then and now.

Though Raghavendra Rao loved Chiru as an actor at the first instance in 1978’s Pranam Kareedu itself, it took couple of years for the duo to come together. In Shoban Babu’s 1980 starrer ‘Mosagadu’, Chiru played an antagonist role, acting for the first time in Raghavendra Rao’s film. Amazed by Chiru’s talent, KRR went on adding a special song for villain and second heroine (Sridevi played dual role). That’s the story folks!
