KCR being Screwed up by HIM!
Well, the time seems to be not in favour of Chief Minister of Telangana KCR. Today, the Former Lok Sabha Member, and T-Congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar fired KCR for his confusing rule in the state. He demanded CM to immediately give notifications for the vacant jobs.
He also demanded the fee reimbursement to be done as soon as possible without any pending. Addressing the media, Ponnam Prabhakar said that if CM fails to do all these demands in practice then surely KCR would be setting fire in students hearts.
Ponnam also warned KCR that students are getting ready to start their agitation against the government if the demands are not fulfilled. However, Ponnam said that KCR is creating confusion in students minds by not declaring the dates for EAMCET properly.
Talking about the Telangana State Public Service Commission revamp, he said that it is not pleasing to change the existing one. He also demanded to extend the age limit for competitive examinations. So, what do you think? Now, KCR knows the actual torture once he sits in the CM chair!
Ganguly joins BJP!
The BJP which has several film star-MPs in Lok Sabha and has always attracted celebrities in its fold managed to attract another star. Bengali Actress Roopa Ganguly who famous for her Draupadi role in the TV series “Mahabharat” has decided to follow in the footsteps of other celebrities and joined politics.
Roopa Ganguly on Wednesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Ganguly gained cult popularity for playing Draupadi in the television series “Mahabharat”. Apart from a number of TV series, the actress has also starred in many Bengali and Hindi films.
She is known for her roles in films like Padma Nadir Majhi (1993) by Gautam Ghose, Yugant (1995) by Aparna Sen, and Antarmahal (2006) by Rituparno Ghosh. Roopa Ganguly was earlier in news for her ill habits like drinking and smoking in her real life. The actress reportedly attempted suicide not only once but thrice. She won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for rendering her voice in the Bengali film Abhosheyshey.
Is it Possible in Telangana, Mr Amit?
BJP chief and ‘man of the match’ of 2014 Lok Sabha polls Mr Amit Shah might have the best track record and might have numbers in favour of his success, yet the new states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are quite contrary to the rest of the states in country and not as easy as the rest to crack. Unknowingly or knowingly ignoring this, It is learnt that Amit Shah, who is set to visit Hyderabad on Wednesday, has directed Telangana unit president Kishan Reddy & his team to enroll at least 20 Lakh (2 Million) in BJP in the Telangana alone.
The number that is far from reality and even far from sight considering the strength of the party in the newly carved out state. In fact, we hear that Amit is expecting similar number from the 13 districts of the truncated Andhra Pradesh as well. These ‘targets’ are baffling many political pundits in the state and senior leaders within BJP as well.
Majority is of the opinion that Amit is deviating from the track and may fail to hit the goal down the South as he ‘adopting’ similar strategy which he had used up North. North is definitely different from South and BJP is struggling a lot in almost all the states.(Karnataka would be little exception though). Since regional parties hold sway in all the South states like Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Congress, Communist parties rule in Kerala, BJP has very little strength.
In fact, the TDP which has his roots grounded in both Telangana and AP too managed to enrol 50 Lakh during the recent membership drive. Having said this, it’s naturally difficult for BJP even to reach 1 Million (10 Lakh) memberships in Telangana and perhaps much less than that in AP. It needs to be seen whether Amit would chalk out any tailor-made strategy for the two states to gain strength in near future or not.

‘NTR Daughter Still Smells Like Congress’
IS NTR daughter, Daggubati Purandeswari still has smell like Congress? TDP leader Varla Ramaiah found fault with Purandeswari, former Union Minister in Congress led UPA government for her comments.
Purandeswari recently commented that TDP rule in Andhra Pradesh seems to be running only on the funds released by Union Government.
Varla Ramaiah speaking to media reacting to Purandeswari statements said Purandeswari even after quitting Congress and joining ruling BJP, didnot lose the smell of her former party Congress with whom she was associated with for more than a decade.
Rebutting Purandeswari, Ramaiah said Chandra Babu’s TDP in Andhra Pradesh and Modi’s BJP at Centre are giving good governance to people.
He’s the devil who raped me, shouted Uber rape victim
The woman who was allegedly raped by Uber taxi driver Shiv Kumar Yadav identified the man at the Tis Hazari court where she had gone to record her statement, and shouted “he is the devil who raped me”, Delhi Police said in its chargesheet. Police said in the chargesheet that the woman, after recording her statement before a magistrate, was coming out of the court and saw the accused driver who was being taken by police for his custodial interrogation.
“The prosecutrix (woman)… Shiv Kumar Yadav ko dekhte huye pehchan liya aur shinakht karte hue chillai ki ‘yahi woh darinda hai jisne mera rape kiya hai’ (the woman identified Shiv Kumar Yadav after spotting him and shouted ‘he is the devil who raped me’),” the chargesheet said. The incident took place at the Tis Hazari court Dec 8, when the woman went to record her statement before Metropolitan Magistrate Riya Guha in court room No.247, while Yadav was coming out from court room No.264 presided by Metropolitan Magistrate Ambika Singh, who allowed Delhi Police to quiz the 32-year-old driver for three days.
Yadav was arrested Dec 7 and was brought before the court in a muffled face Dec 8. He refused to undergo a test identification parade. When he was coming out of the court room, he removed the muffler, saying he was feeling suffocated. The woman, who was at the same time coming out from another court room, spotted him and identified him.
Citing the woman’s statement before the magistrate in its chargesheet, police said the woman said she was raped during recording of her statement under section 164, of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). Yadav allegedly raped the woman on the night of Dec 5 when she was heading back home in north Delhi’s Inderlok area in the cab he was driving. The woman works for a finance company in Gurgaon.
The chargesheet was filed Dec 24 — 19 days after the rape and the cognizance of the chargesheet was taken by a magistrate court Jan 5. Police chargesheeted Yadav under sections 376 (rape), 366 (kidnapping or abducting woman with an intent to compel her for marriage), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code.
In the over 100-page chargesheet, police cited 44 prosecution witnesses in support of its case. Police also relied on forensic evidence and placed on record the route map of the car in which the offence was committed.
