Dasari Bags Rare Honour
Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao has bagged a rare honour. The 150-movie-old award winning director will be felicitated with Shobhan Babu Swarna Kankanam (Golden Bracelet) on the eve of yesteryear hero’s birth anniversary. Considering Dasari’s contributions to cinema and his love for film fraternity seem to be the reasons behind choosing Dasari for this special honour.
The honour will be conferred on Jan 10 at a special event held at Ravindra Bharati in Hyderabad which is expected to see several film personalities. Actors like Murali Mohan who had special bonding with Shobhan Babu would be present.
Telangana Seva Samithi and Shrutilaya Arts Academy will jointly organise the event. Given that Dasari directed several films of Shoban Babu and played pivotal role in the 75th Birth Anniversary celebrations of late actor Shoban Babu, Dasari would be giving a stentorian speech on Shoban Babu at the do.
Nayanthara To Play Challenging Role
The glamour diva Nayanthara seems to be on an experiment mode of late. After seen as a ‘pregnant’ woman in Anamika (Kahaani remake), she signed women-centric horror film Maaya. The latest buzz is that she will essay the challenging role of a hearing-impaired person in Vignesh Shivan’s Naanum Rowdydhaan in which she is pairing up with Vijay Sethupathi in the movie.
Although it’s a serious role, the role comes with a sensitive humour. We hear that Nayanthara does it with ease. Already a major portion of the film was shot and it was mainly shot in Pondicherry. With Nayan recently turning 30 and giving a break for glamour roles, many industry people are wondering whether Nayan is planning to enter wedlock in a year of two.
In fact,she was supposed to marry Prabhudeva and even announced that she was quitting films during Sri Rama Rajyam but later both parted ways and she returned to cinema.

Torrie on his twitter posted photo of Sharapova who was jubilant and offering best pout ace and peace sign before coming with marriage proposal. 29 year old Damian Torrie said he walked down and got Sharapova’s autograph and also asked her permission for a selfie with her.
Siddharth-Samantha’s Film is On
Despite after the much talked “breakup”, actors Siddharth and Samantha are going to act together in a film which was signed by them before they parted their ways. Samantha and Siddharth will be sharing screen space in the Telugu-Tamil remake of Bangalore days. While Samantha reprises the role of Nazriya, Siddharth will step into the shoes of Fahadh Faasil in the remake.
Both Sid and Sam will join the film’s shooting from March 1 in Hyderabad. It is learnt that the duo breakup sometime ago but the news came out only now. Both Samantha and Siddharth reportedly not in talking terms for over a month and the things got worsen recently ahead of New Year.
Siddharth and Samantha were in a relation for two-and-half-years before calling it quits. The duo fall for each other during the shooting of Jabardasth. Now the fans of Samantha and Siddharth are expecting them to patch up things while shooting of Bangalore Days remake. Let’s wait and see folks.

Telangana Employees Backstabbing AP Employees?
All of you are aware that there are now two assemblies- the AP assembly and TS assembly. So, obviously there are two secretariats. The Secretariat employees have been given the option that they can work anywhere. But for choosing a particular state, certain grounds are there. The key clause for that is, at any place if the person has studied for 4 years between 4th class to 10th class consecutively that person becomes a local.
Using this loophole, it is heard that many Telangana employees are opting for AP using fake certificates. This is because AP CM Chandrababu has made retirement age as 60 and in TS it is 58. Hence, many T-employees who are past 55 are claiming that they have studied in AP towns and cities. They are bringing certificates from there and opting for AP. Also, Hyderabad is joint capital for next ten years so they need not change the city.
They will get their salaries, increments and promotions for two more years. Due to this, the AP cadre employees who genuinely deserve promotion are getting stuck due to the backdoor method of the senior employees. That way, it is being reported that the TS employees are backstabbing AP employees. If you are wondering why KCR is not increasing the age limit for retirement then here is the reason.
The Osmania university students created stir stating opportunities and vacancies will not be there. That’s why KCR has kept the retiring age as 58 only. Even if assembly shifts to AP in the next two years, then they will apply for long leave and chill out. Their services will be of no use to AP. Unfortunately, without cross checking the fake certificates in some places they are being recruited. And those who genuinely deserve promotion are doing the required background check and reporting the mal practice to their superiors. Sad but true!
Is Congress contesting polls in Pakistan?
BJP President Amit Shah today stepped up attack on Congress party blasting it for raising suspicions on Indian Coast Guard intercepting a Pakistani boat in sea on Dec 31 averting a possible 26/11 terror strike. He thundered that Congress party after getting crushed in the general elections seems to be carving for power in Pakistan.
Amit Shah questioned how could Congress leaders raise suspicions on Indian security agencies bringing down their morale and helping Pakistani cause putting nation’s security at stake. Amit Shah dared why Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and President Sonia Gandhi are remaining silent and encouraging their leaders to issue anti national statements as if they are trying to fight elections in Pakistan and rule the country.
Earlier Congress spokesman Ajoy Kumar raised doubts on the actions of Coast Guard and demanded Government to furnish evidence on which terror group claimed responsibility on owning the boat.

100% Vasthu Compliance for AP Capital?
While the location of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh is almost settled issue, focus is now shifted towards the setting up of the capital. Since Singaporean master plan is shortly expected and the capital works are all set to kick off, Vasthu pundits too stepped in. Renowned Vasthu experts predicting that the AP Capital will have a great future provided it is build facing “North” with a view of the River Krishna.
Most of the Vasthu experts in unison stating that this is the ideal way which will make AP capital golden and Singaporean and can even compete with European cities. Since already government located capital region with Mangalagiri, Anantavaram, Borupalem and Prakasam barrage as borders, and Krishna river falls on the north of these areas, vasthu pundits are predicting that best will come for the new capital.
“Since River Krishna is on the North, it’s a sign of rapid growth and development,” said a famous Vasthu consultant. Another Vasthu expert reasoned, “In fact, Hyderabad suffered several problems initially since the Tank Bund is not on the North of the city’s administrative setup. However, things only got better after NTR installed the Buddha statue after consulting Vasthu experts. This changed the city’s fate and it got global recognition and fame.”
Also several other vasthu experts went on to say that the areas at the back of the city should be preferred for godowns or warehouses and used for trade. Whereas east of River Krishna is “most suitable” for educational institutions. Meanwhile, many also suggesting to install a 45-foot tall statue of Jala Durga in the River Krishna for more luck and prosperity of the state.
It is learnt that CM Chandrababu Naidu and his team of cabinet ministers are closely observing several issues before coming to final conclusions on such a vital aspect. We hear that already government has prepared ground for the new capital and waiting for the Singaporean master-plan. As soon as plan is rady, Japan would step in to build the capital.
