Ever since Nagarjuna Akkineni’s Bhai bombed at Box Office, its director Veerabhadram Chowdary has been running from pillar to the post for his next movie. Although initially he managed to rope in actor Allari Naresh with whom he already made a film (Aha Na Pellanta), it failed to take off for reasons best known to director and actor. 

The latest buzz in Film Nagar is that Aadi would be cast in Veerabhadram’s next. After his action drama Rough meeting unfortunate fate at the ticket windows, Aadi decided to join forces with Veerabahdram. Adding to this, producer Anil Sunkara who tasted disaster Aagadu, comes on board on this project. 

It is learnt that all these three are working vigorously to make this project a commercial hit to bail out themselves from previous films. Currently, Veerabhadram is shaping up the script as Aadi is shooting for his next movie Garam with director Madan. Soon after wrapping up this, his yet-to-be-titled movie with Veerabhadram would go onto floors.

After having a disastrous start to his career with Gauravam, Allu Sirish scored a hit with Kotha Janta directed by Maruthi. However the actor didn’t leave any lasting impression with that film. He is aware of the fact that he is yet to make a mark as an actor. 

Hence Allu Sirish took a break and worked on his skills and looks too. He has listened to number of scripts and also finalized a movie with a newcomer. When Sirish thought of going ahead with that film, he got an opportunity to work with director Parasuram, who proved his mettle with films like Yuvatha, Anjaneyulu and Solo. 

Parasuram’s previous film Sarocharu was a dud and he couldn’t find any takers after that. He waited for the approval of Rana for many days and finally decided to move on. He narrated the same script to Sirish and he readily accepted to be a part of it. 

Sirish is all set to answer his critics with this film. All other mega heroes have set the bar high for him and he is ready to face the challenge. Good luck chap!

Hero Nani is talented, no doubt about it. But his films have bitten dust in a row as 2013 let him down with career’s best flops saying him a hello. Unbend with these repeated failures, Nani is now eyeing to score a hit at any cost as his upcoming film promises something new and never seen for Telugu audiences. 

A series of disappointments like Aaha Kalyanam and Paisa and the failed release of Jenda pa Kapiraju have hit Nani hard. However, he took the film of newcomer Nag Ashwin, a former assistant director of Sekhar Kammula, to shine his way. They are now coming up with the movie ‘Yevade Subrahmanyam’, whose first look will be unveiled on January 10. 

Heroines Ritu Varma and Malavika Nair are paired opposite him. Coming to the Mt Everest thing, Nani says that this film two stories, one set in city backdrop and the other one in Mt Everest backdrop. To finish the latter part, Nani and a crew of 30 went to everest base camp and stationed there for 30 days. 

Despite odds including sleeping in thick covers in heavy snow, minus temperatures, limited food and lack of cellphones, Nani’s crew worked hard to get beautiful output. Hope these efforts will give him huge relief.

The odd 5-minute message is a blunt appeal to the star hero asking him to “explore” his talent through “experimental” movies by coming out of “commercial” image. Expressing disappointment over NTR’s recent films like Ramayya Vastavayya and Rabhasa, the fan expresses his wish to see NTR in a film like Shankar’s I. 

His message is read as,”NTR garu…I’m very big fan of yours. I’d watched Aadi movie twice on the day before my final 10th Class exam. I won’t call you as Jr NTR as you’re the only NTR I knew. I stay in Bangalore and I’m not fan of Nandamuri Vamsam but only fan of yours. I’d like to see you in diverse roles. You have loads of talent and you stand out in the top two performances in the last 10 years (in Telugu film industry).

Your performance in Rakhi and Yamadonga come under top two performances. Especially I think your performance in Rakhi is much better than Yamadonga.” “You’re best actor in Tollywood irrespective of castes and creed. In fact, even you know this. That’s why you’re not taking risk. You’re not ready to explore yourself. Films like Ramayya Vastavayya and Rabhasa are not your standard. If Shankar had made I with you, I’m sure it’d get much better result.

“A director like Shankar should come to you and make a film with you sir. I think he doesn’t know about your talent. But acting is a rare quality in you. Please explore it as there are good directors in Tollywood. All you need is just send a hint that you’re ready to experiment,” ended the message.

Pawan Kalyan’s Tuesday (Jan 6, 2015) meeting with his injured fan Karuna Sreenivas has revealed something new and unusual of him- Yagnopavitam upon his chest. Pawan Kalyan wearing a Jandhyam (Yagnopavitam or Sacred Thread) is strikingly visible and conspicuous in the spot pictures, video. Especially, this is discovered a day after Pawan Kalyan admitted his strong spiritual bonding and his tryst with God, at the audio launch of Gopala Gopala. 

It yet again proved that Pawan Kalyan is an enigma and there are several unknown facets within him that outer world doesn’t know. Jandhyam, the sacred thread, is worn over the left shoulder and under the right arm after Upanayana, a ceremony through which Guru (Spiritual Guru) introduces Brahmopadesam to seeker.
