Remember Ester Noronha? Well, she made her debut with Sai Ram Shankar-starrer 1000 Abaddalu. Though the movie turned out to be a debacle and she didn’t get noticed much, she bagged a second film. Her second film was opposite Suneel in Bheemavaram Bullodu under Suresh Productions. Even this film didn’t change her fortunes much. The latest is Ester has bagged yet another film where she will be pairing up with Srikanth. The yet-to-be-titled film is going onto floors shortly and we hear that Ester plays village belle in the film.

Director Teja’s heroines have a special skill to bounce back and most of them proved successful in showbiz. Be it Kajal Aggarwal (Lakshmi Kalyanam) or Sada (Jayam) or Anita (Nuvvu Nenu) or Nanditha (Neeku Naaku Dash Dash, Prema Katha Chitram fame) have carved out a niche for themselves. Let’s see whether Ester do fall in same line or not. We have to wait and watch if Ester is third time lucky or not.

There is no time for relaxing, if a Telugu star wants to make his movie pocket around 50 crores of collections. They should stand on toes, work relentlessly and capture other territories to shower gold coins for producers. Young hero Naga Chaitanya is thinking about the same now.

Basking in the glory of Manam’s overwhelming success, Chaitanya revealed his plans. He wants to expand his base to Kollywood too as he could speak Tamil fluently. Being brought-up in Chennai for a while, the young romantic hero knows the ins and outs of the film industry there too. Though Chaitu is contemplating to come up with a bilingual, it will not be a good idea.

Ram Charan is one hero who doesn’t run after successful directors and is ready to take huge risks by signing up flop directors and relatively unknown directors. He took a brave decision of doing a film with Sampath Nandi, who didn’t have prior experience of dealing with a superstar.

Charan is currently doing Govindudu Andarivadele with Krishna Vamsi, who has been struggling to make decent films. Fans are happy to know that Charan’s next will be with hot shot director Srinu Vytla. But the buzz about that film is putting them in endless tension. As per film circles, Srinu Vytla is coming out of his comfort zone to make an out and out action film with Ram Charan.

Srinu Vytla’s forte is comedy and every hit film of his had superb comedy besides all the commercial ingredients. Vytla is trying to make a film that has negligible comedy it seems. This thought itself is giving nightmares to Ram Charan fans. However these are only rumors as neither Charan nor Srinu Vytla didn’t speak anything about their project yet. Let’s hope Vytla and Charan’s film would be a perfect combination of comedy and action to please every section of audience.

Its an apt title for Ravi Teja right now, since his star prowess is on test with his upcoming film ‘Power’ and he should be able to cross 30-crore mark and join the big league of actors. Ace director S S Rajamouli apart from his consecutive blockbusters, is all setting a new trend in T-town, since he has turned a partner for his production ‘Baahubali’ and would earn his share of money after trading off the film. Usually, directors, writers and other technicians draw a ‘specific salary’ for their work, but Rajamouli broke this rule too.

It all started with ‘Maryada Ramanna’ where he reportedly took share from the business of the comic-caper with producer house ARKA media and reportedly pocketed 11 crores since it was sold for 24-odd cfrores, says a source. When he got opportunity to work with the same production house again, ‘Bahubali’ he could have easily walked away with a remuneration of 15 to 18 crores, considering his enviable success streak. But he preferred to again join as a partner in the 100-crore budget and didn’t take any remuneration till date and would be waiting to make his earnings only next year, once the film is sold to distributors.

Already, producer-distributor Dil raju has pumped in 25 crores for Nizam, so others would follow suit, to cover the big investment. ‘Going the sensational craze the film has evoked, Rajamoli would be making atleast 25 crores next year’ adds the source. Being a good human, he doesn’t want to put a producer completely in ‘risk’ and prefers to share profit or loss, since the budget is huge, hope other directors follow suit, since their remuneration have become too high. Top directors should learn a lesson or two from the maker of Eega?

Oscar Winning actor and noted comedian Robin Williams was found dead on Monday at his home in California. According to police, it was a suspected suicide and Mr Williams was found “unconscious and not breathing inside his residence”. The veteran actor’s publicist said the “Good Will Hunting” star he had been battling depression prior to his death. The 63-year-old actor had won Oscar in “Best Supporting Actor” category for his over-the-top performance in “Good Will Hunting”.

Susan Schneider, who became the actor’s third wife when the couple married in 2011, said, “This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief.”

Williams is one of the most beloved American entertainers of his generation, He rose to fame with US television sitcom “Mork & Mindy”. His popular films include 1987’s “Good Morning Vietnam”, 1989’s “Dead Poets Society” besides several others.

It has become a common practice Prince Mahesh Babu and Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s movies releasing together in the same seasons with a very short span of time in between. ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ and ‘Naayak’ were clashed at the box office during the season of Sankranthi in 2013. Both the movies got the victories at the box office.

Once again, Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu fought for the Pongal Cup this year with their movies ‘Yevadu’ and ‘1-Nenokkadine’. ‘Yevadu’ showed clear domination on ‘1-Nenokkadine’ this time. The third time clash of these two heroes will be happening during the season of Dussehra this year with their movies ‘Govindhudu Andarivaadele’ and ‘Aagadu’. Meanwhile, Mahesh’s new movie was launched on August 11 and the regular shoot of this movie will start from September. This Koratala Siva’s directorial venture will be releasing for summer, 2015. On the other side, Ram Charan and Srinu Vaitla’s combo movie will go on floors in the month of November this year. If the movie’s shoot gets progressed in a brisk pace without any interruptions, this movie will also get released for summer. If this really happens, we witness 4th time clash of Mahesh and Ram Charan. Whatever it is, even if there is a clash or not, wish that both the stars will rock at the box office with the blockbuster results of their movies.

It is known that Ram Gopal Varma had announced the sequel of his recent utter flop, Ice Cream. The original had Tejaswi Madivada playing the female lead while Ram Gopal Varma had rope in a new beauty Naveen for the sequel. It is not yet clear if Navadeep will continue as the main lead of the film.

This film will also be produced by Ice Cream producer, Thummalapalli Rama Satya Narayana under his banner Bheemavaram Talkies. More details of this project will be known after Ram Gopal Varma’s Anukshanam releases.

It is known that Nandamuri Balakrishna suffered a fall from a bike in his next film shooting. He hurt his Left leg and was immediately rushed to Kammineni Institute of Medical Sciences. A team of doctors attended the actor and he got nine stitches just above his left leg ankle.

The actor has sent in a message that he is doing well and will resume shooting from Monday. This is the 98th film in Balayya’s career and is being directed by Satya deva, Trisha is the female lead.

We rarely see Superstars’ daughters becoming heroines off course with some exceptions like Shruti Hassan. Tamil Cinema is slightly liberal in this issue than Tollywood. Hero Sarath Kumar’s daughter (step daughter of yesteryear heroine Radhika) Vara Lakshmi made her filmy debut and is growing successfully.

Recently she bagged an interesting Tamil project titled ‘Tara Tappatai’. Vara Lakshmi will be seen as traditional dancer in the first half of the film and as a prostitute in the second half according to the sources. Earlier Shriya Saran was chosen for this role but now Vara Lakshmi has bagged it.

As we reported earlier NTR is working with Puri Jagannath for his next movie. Vakkantham Vamsi provided story for this movie and as per reliable sources interval block is going to be the major highlight of the movie. Earlier Vakkantham Vamsi worked with NTR for “Ashok” movie and it got miserable result at Box office. Even “Oosaravelli” which is his second fick with NTR managed to be just an average despite several twist and turns.

This time Vamsi is very serious about the result of this flick and making sure that the film has enough heroism elevated scenes. It was actually supposed to direct Vakkantham Vamsi but he agreed to offer the script to Puri Jagannath and he just want to pay back to NTR instead of trying to cash the opportunity. This film is expected to release for 2015 Sankranthi season. Kajal is pairing up with NTR and Bandla Ganesh is producing this movie.

Anjaan is directed by Linguswamy who is known for making effective commercial movies like Aawara. This film’s business shows the sheer power of a mass movie. This is the motivation behind why producers are slanted to making mass films.

Apparently senior hero Nagarjuna has given his nod for a multi-starrer with young hero Jr NTR long back, but the project is yet to go on floors. NTR has wrapped up Rabhasa and Nag is done with first season of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, but this multi-starrer under Vamsi Paidipalli’s direction is not taking off. What is holding this flick back?

Super success of Ram Charan’s Yevadu has made Vamsi Paidipally take up another such multi-starrer. After lot of brainstorming, finally has convinced both NTR and Nagarjuna for the movie. But the whereabouts of this project are not yet known. On the flip side, Tarak signed Puri Jagan’s movie and regular shoot will start once Rabhasa hits the screens. Close sources had it that Nagarjuna is looking for something like a Manam to do, not some regular masala entertainers.

Also he is busy choosing scripts for Akhil’s debut as that is getting delayed more than the time he anticipated. Apart from this, Nag is overseeing Naga Chaitanya’s Oka Laila Kosam and is setting up another opportunity for nephew Sumanth too. All these factors are said to be applying brakes for multi-starrer with NTR.

Hour Glass Beauty Tamannaah is doing her best to leave a mark in Bollywood. But nothing is working in favor of her as all her movies are failing to go to the next level. After disastrous Himmatwala and forgettable Humshakals, Tamanna’s latest Hindi flick Entertainment too failed to get good openings.

Despite doing films with some of the big names of Bollywood, Tamanna’s luck is eluding her. Entertainment enjoyed a solo release on August 8, but the numbers of this film are pretty low compared to other Akshay Kumar’s films. This film has collected a gross of over 26 crores in its first weekend.

Entertainment will face stiff competition from Singham Returns from next Friday. So making it to the 100 crore club is out of question now. Tamanna had high hopes on this film. But Entertainment may end up as average grosser at the best. Nothing seems to be working for her in B town. Is this a sign for her to stick with South Cinema or what?
