Mega fans are expecting to see the first teaser of Ram Charan’s latest movie ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ from a time. But that is not happening despite producer Bandla Ganesh announcing many dates. When is the teaser of this October 1st release coming anyway?

Earlier there was buzz that Ram Charan will give treat to mega fans much before Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi. Because Chiru will be announcing about his 150th movie on August 22nd, on his birthday eve, while Pawan is willing to release Lord Krishna release on the occasion of Sri Krishnashtami on August 17th. So Charan was expected to release a teaser before these two that is on July 28th, when Krishna Vamsi celebrated his birthday. But due to post-production issues, including unavailability of music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, this teaser was never released.

Cut to present, Bandla Ganesh is not going to disappoint mega fans this time as he fixed up a new date for teaser release. On August 7th evening, Govindudu Andarivadele’s first teaser will be released officially, he stated today with media folks. Wait and watch.

Tamannah alongwith her ‘Its Entertainment’ hero Akshay Kumar is in Hyderabad. Akki came here to promote his film with his heroine. Well, when actors promote their films as a couple, it is obvious they praise each other. Sometimes buttering also considered as praise. Tamannah couldn’t stop herself from going gaga on her hero and she was found saying, ” I was amazed at his discipline.” She considers him being on sets by 6 a.m. as per the schedule is a great thing because a star like Akshay Kumar in Bollywood tends to throw weight by being late.

There is truth in his compliment indeed. In fact, Tamannah has clean & clear complexion. So, is Tamannah going to pose threat to Yami Goutham (‘Gouravam’ fame) who is at present the face of fairness cream and had become the butt of jokes for her flawless skin?

Director Puri Jagannadh has immense respect for maverick director Ram Gopal Varma. Time and again he doesn’t forget to sing his praise. Approximately 3 months ago, Puri confirmed that RGV had shown him the video footage of Shanvi Srivastava, the heroine of Manchu Vishnu starrer ‘Rowdy’. Puri did say that he liked her performance and felt she has amazing screen presence. And she is being considered for Puri’s next project which is going to be either with NTR or Mahesh.

Finally Puri’s next project with NTR has been finalised. The film was officially launched on 1st August. It’s announced that the regular shooting will happen during the month of August. Still no trace of Shanvi. Kajal Agarwal was offered the main heroine role. There was still a chance for second fiddle. But Puri chose Madhurima Banerjee for that pivotal role in NTR’s movie. Seems Puri has altogether dumped the idea of roping in Shanvi for his new project. Poor Shanvi she was quite elated even at the idea of being considered by Puri for his film.

After the stupendous success of Malaylam film ‘Drishyam’, it is remade into Telugu and Kannada. Not many changes were made to the script for the remake versions of ‘Drishyam’. In fact, Telugu ‘Drishyam’ followed the Malayalam script as it is except very few changes. The basic script remained the same. Now that the movie is going to be remade in Tamil, one question by default flashes our minds…Will ‘Drishyam’s original script remains the same or will there be any major changes to the script.

Some people might be wondering from where did this script change idea dawn in the first place. This script change concept comes from the rumour that is making rounds regarding Kamal Haasan’s movie. There are rumours that Sridevi was approached to do the police officer role and she rejected the offer. The rumours quote the reason that Boney Kapoor, Sri’s husband doesn’t want his wife to act in Kamal Haasan’s movie because there would invariably be lip lock scenes in his film. According to the original script, there is no possibility of any kissing scene between the protagonist and the police officer. Whoever made up this story must have forgotten the connection between the two characters in ‘Drishyam’. Poor guys! ROFL.

Are Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu going to lock horns again? If the way things are planned, go according to plan then that is what we are going to see pretty soon. News from Charan’s Govindudu Andari Vadele set is that the teaser of the film which was postponed in the last minute a week back will now be showcased on evening of August 7th. So where does Mahesh Babu fit into this? Well, we all know that the second teaser of the stars film would be released exactly at midnight on the star’s birthday which means on night of August 8.

As one see these two teasers will be released back to back and will once again put both these stars in direct competition with one another. The box office revelry between these two stars has been going on for some time now what with the actor’s clashing with each other on two occasions prior to this. This is of course literally a tease as the real showdown is slated to happen for Dushera when both the films will be arriving in a week’s gap. The thing to observe this time though is that it is Ram Charan who is coming with risky venture unlike the last two occasions where Mahesh Babu was coming with non massy movies. Can he hold onto competition this time as well?

Like we said yesterday, there will be lots of twist and turns on the release date of Young Tiger NTR starrer Rabhasa. The film’s unit is not sure about completing the work on time and this is the main reason for postponement. But there were rumors that this could be avoided with slop shoddy post production work and the film can be ready for release on time. Now we have another addition to the one above that could lead to further postponement.

It seems that the top distributors distributing the film don’t want it to release in competition. They will not get required screens for record release, is the reason they cite. With no record release a biggie like Rabhasa could lose substantial revenue in the opening week is what they collectively feel. Now if the film were to release later they wouldn’t be having such problems and a record release is assured. The latest date that is being heard in distribution circles is August 29. But rest assured the issue is far from getting over and we might be hearing further interesting info about the release of the film soon.

Heroine Kajal is a busy actress with multiple films in her hand most of the time. So when one of her projects gets derailed it has repercussion on other tentative projects of her as well. We can see something similar happening now. Kajal is the heroine in the film Govindudu Andari Vadele paired opposite Ram Charan. The film as we know has been postponed few times in the last few months and its schedules have been readjusted from time to time.

What has that rescheduling done is that, the actress is now short on dates to accommodate the upcoming film of Jr NTR to be made by Puri Jagannadh. Even this film was expected to go on floors by now but has been postponed due to the actor’s unavailability. But since its one film at a time for the actor, he could manage it by working nonstop which is not the case with Kajal and hence the doubt over her agreeing to do the film. Bulk dates of heroine are required for the film and currently the modalities are being worked out with Kajal. If things don’t pan out as expected, a new heroine will replace her soon.

Run Raja Run is turning out to be the biggest surprise hit of the year. Run Raja Run is getting tremendous response from all sections of audience and is going from strength to strength. This film is believed to have a very long run at the box office. Distributors are increasing the number of theaters and are expected to make handsome profits on the movie.

Sharwanand’s Run Raja Run success is putting pressure upon the big release Rabhasa as it may not get many theaters if it sticks for August 15th release. Alludu Seenu is still holding well in B and C centers and the buyers of that movie are reluctant to replace the film on August 15. Buyers of Run Raja Run and Alludu Seenu are expecting to get huge shares during the long weekend that follows Independence Day.

If Rabhasa makers are hell bent on releasing the movie on Independence Day, then they will have to settle for less number of theaters. Dil Raju reportedly met NTR to suggest him to go for Vinayaka Chaturthi release. NTR and Bellamkonda Suresh are discussing about the pros and cons of releasing Rabhasa on Aug 15. Even the post production work of Rabhasa isn’t complete yet.

Danush’s latest movie VIP Is a smashing hit at box office and the run is continuing very fruitful even in third week. However, Danush has portrayed smoking a cigarette wildly on the release posters of the movie. According to Tobacco Control Board’s guidelines, scenes and pictures related to smoking couldn’t be used for posters, while inside the movie they should be displayed with a warning slogan imprinted over them. Authorities found out that Danush’s VIP posters are not adhering to guidelines after receiving a complaint from Anti Tobacco Organisation of Tamilnadu.

Reacting on this, TN government ordered the producer to rip the posters off from walls immediately. Jr Superstar Danush is not only hero of this flick but he himself produced the movie under his Wunderbaar Films banner. He has made his mind to get the posters ripped into pieces to invite no further troubles.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is always game for experimenting with genres and characters. Director Vikram Kumar of Manam fame thought that Mahesh would readily accept to play triple role in his film. However Mahesh Babu felt that it may not suit for him as he will have to look old for one of those three characters.

Mahesh has reportedly asked Vikram Kumar to come up with a romantic entertainer and rejected the subject in which he had to play triple roles. Vikram Kumar narrated the same subject to Tamil actor Surya and he lapped up the opportunity immediately. Suriya always likes to don different getups and it is a dream for him to play triple role.

Top producers Bellamkonda dream to make his son Srinivas a star seems to have come true as ‘Allu Seenu’ expected to garner more than 20-odd crores and to give stardom to debutant actor.

Even though, industry bigwigs found fault with Bellamkonda for spending more than 30 crores for his son, but he proved all of them wrong and got his son, instant recognition and saleable too. With unprecedented publicity campaign, producer is expected to get around 10 crores from Nizam, 10 crores from Seemandhra and 3 crore plus from Ceded, on par with an establish T-town star.

He is rushed immediately to a nearby private hospital in Mehdipatnam for treatment. Raj Kiran’s health condition is still unknown and we have to wait for reports from doctors.

Or truly are their busy with their work, as they reportedly informed organisers. Barring seasoned directors, new-generation directors are keeping out of this Telangana movement, hoping that they would be sidelined by Seemandhra producers, who are known for their big money bags.

Nevertheless, with KCR determined to protect the interest of Telangana film fraternity, these reluctant directors may join the stream, if things fall in place, lets wait and see, how long these directors keep away.

Is there a massive upset lurking in near future for Rabhasa? The latest buzz in the industry suggests so. It is being said that the unit will find it extremely difficult to finish its post production activities on time for a release on August 15, a date which the makers are targeting at. If this turns out to be true we are looking at the film getting postponed by couple of weeks at least.

The only way, sources say, the makers can make it to the date, if they are so hell bent on its Independence Day release, is to release the film with half baked post production. Complete whatever post production work that needs to be completed in a hurry without taking care of quality then the film can arrive on time. In the past makers of Oosaravelli adopted a similar path to release the film at any cost for Dushera festival. We all know how the final result of the film turned out to be. Can Jr NTR and makers take such risk again considering the big prices paid by the distributors?
