Lakshmi Prasanna in touch with her first husband
Manchu lakshmi, who is seen on ETV with her talk show these days, is back in news. It is reported that the married aunty is in touch with her first husband for some reason, which has to be probed a bit, yet. According to reliable sources, from October 2010, Manchu lakshmi’s first husband was trying to contact her desperately for a reason.
After constant pester from messages and phone calls, lakshmi Manchu at last agreed to converse with him on phone. From the past few days, she is said to be in touch with him, while in India and abroad. However, the reason for the meeting on phone is unknown yet and will be disclosed soon. Sources also claim that, almost 10 days ago, Lakshmi Prasanna met the man personally and the two had a discussion on certain issues for almost 1 hour.
It is a fact that Lakshmi Prasanna fell in love with a guy, whose named is withheld presently. She was studying in St. Francis College in Hyderabad, when her love story, elopement and marriage took place with a good looking guy. But for many reasons, her father Dr. Mohan Babu was against the marriage. As usual, he showed his villain instincts and separated the two lovers, after marriage. He somehow threatened the guy to divorce his daughter and set her abroad, on the name of higher education.
After almost 14-16 years (approximately) lakshmi Manchu is now in touch with her first husband. But the actual reason is still to be probed as Manchu lakshmi is acting smartly and keeping this thing as a secret & away from the media.
Nayan do-or-die effort ?
No doubt, Nayantara has a big task ahead since she has to pull in openings for her maiden female-centric film ‘Anamika’. Although, she has enough talent to breathe life into the role of a pregnant woman in search of hushand, but it prove, that she is a star material or not. Even Anushka couldn’t manage to draw in decent crowds for her film ‘Varna’ since Telugu audience are averse to female centric movies and even poor show of Priyamani’s film recently vouch for it.
It is easy to just share screen space with stars like Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and Balakrishna and leave the responsibility of pulling in openings, so its kind of do-or-die battel for Nayan to show her prowess and how strong her connect with Andhra viewers.We’ll get to know very soon.
Modi’s flop show in Andhra Pradesh?
Everybody would have thought, that only Muslims who count to nearly 1 crore population in twin states, would negate Modi, but unfortunately, the PM-candidate has no takers among Reddy’s, Kapu, Kamma and even BC’s, to puncture his so-called wave. Despite, Mr. Narendra Modi taking the nation by storm but unfortunately his ‘wave’ hasn’t impacted Andhra Pradesh much, which elects 42 MP’s for the Parliament and the bleak scenario doesn’t augur well for the Gujarat Chief Minister.
Even though, he diluted his image of Hindutva mascot (90 laksh minority population in the state) and riding on ‘development’ plank, but still hasn’t connected with Telugu communities. Has he arrived at a wrong time, since the bifurcation, has thrown up more indigenous leaders and Modi is lost to leaders like KCR, KIran Kumar and Jagan Mohan Reddy, Ponnala or his first meeting failed to set the agenda as it turned out to be a tame affair (remembered for his praising legendary NTR and his meeting film stars like Balakrishna and Mohan Babu’s family which doesn’t help his cause) or Andhra is unaware of Gujarat development model, since it’s a far-of state, geographically.
When leaders like Pawan, Bhishonoi and Raj Thackeray, Vijakanth and Ramadoss are rushing to join hands with him, mesmerized by the euphoria, around his meteoric rise, but Telugu Desam strongman is not playing the ball since the shrewed ex-Chief Minister knows that Modi wave doesn’t exist at in AP. (Unlike in 1999 when Vajpayee wave was felt and helped Telugu Desam to return to power). Of course, Chandrababu is disappointed with Modi for not able to ‘halt’ the bifurcation in Parliament, so now, ex Chief Minister wants BJP to calm down and listen to his terms since BJP has take few seats home, counting on Telugu Desam campaign and not the other way round. Surely, BJP can spring one or two surprises in Telangana, since they have been supporting the demand, but 25-odd seats in Seemandhra, are a distant dream for Modi’s team, without Telugu Desam’s support.
It is noted that Modi is able to swing voters even in UP, over three strong parties like BSP, Samajwadi and Congress, but Modi needs lots of support in Andhra. He is also wooing superstar Pawan to join or support his party, since only such a ‘grand alliance’ will help Modi brand. If they have to go it alone, Modi may not be willing to show his face in AP, leave alone winning more seats from the two states.
Why Kavitha silent on Pawan?
Pawan Kalyan’s Friday speech is the hard-hitting speech ever made by a politician in recent times and is bolt out of the blue to many politicians cutting across the boarders. Especially, TRS cadre is still said to be under this powerful speech as it remain tight-lipped.
In a blistering attack on Telangana Jagruti president Kavitha, star actor questioned her over the funds inflow to her outfit. Pawan asked Kavitha to reveal the financial accounts of Telangana Jagruthi to people of Telangana. Many have expected a thunderous response from TRS on this. Contrary to it, taking everyone by surprise, TRS is maintaining an eerie of silence over Pawan’s strong allegations.
TRS MLA and Kavitha’s brother K. Taraka Rama Rao reluctantly responded and said that they decided to not to respond on Pawan’s statements. Whereas Kavitha is no where in the whole scene. This is raising many eyebrows as KTR, KCR are usually hyper-reactive. We hear that TRS want to downplay the issue to subdue the alleged “fund irregularities” in Telangana Jagruthi. Venkatesh plans go haywire
Veteran star Venkatesh planned to start off three films at a time and keep himself busy with the work. He stepped out of Ram Charan, Krishna Vamsi’s film and allotted the same dates to Radha movie directed by Maruthi. That film is caught in a mess due to a complaint lodged by a writer alleging plagiarism.
Venkatesh thought of launching Oh My God remake in the mean time. But Pawan Kalyan who was supposed to play the ‘God’ in this movie has been busy with his newly launched political outfit. Oh My God will take more than four months to get started and Venkatesh has started working on Drishyam remake.
This film is being remade in Tamil with Kamal Haasan in the lead. Kamal reprising Mohan Lal’s role in Tamil and Venkatesh taking up the same role in Telugu means it is pressure on Venkatesh because there will be obvious comparisons between all the three versions. Venkatesh actually wanted to wait for few more months to start Drishyam, but he was forced to start it immediately.
Jr NTR Cancelled Multi-Starrer Flick?
Meanwhile, Young Tiger NTR is not taking decisions in a hurry though he needs to finalize what is his next after wrapping up ‘Rabhasa’. While he is expected to be part of a multi-starrer, latest update is that he is not happy with the final script.
Busy with Santosh Srinivas’ movie ‘Rabhasa’, Junior is considering various options like director Sukumar’s action based love story and Trivikram’s masala entertainer. In the middle, his previous director Vamsi Paidipally has come up with a multi-starrer project where King Nagarjuna is heard getting on board. But after listening to the final version, it is heard that NTR is not satisfied with the output and instantly he decided to scrap the project. He asked Vamsi to come up with another script rather this multi-starrer.
On the other hand, Jr NTR is looking forward to finalize one among Sukumar, Trivikram and Puri Jagan. For now, all the projects are just in discussing stage, and he wants Rabhasa to get released and elections to get over before taking up any new challenges, an insider said.
Disappointed Young Hero shelved his film?
Is Nithiin’s new film, which was launched few days ago, shelved? Film nagar sources say this film has been put on the backburner due to creative differences between Nitin and debut director Srinivas Reddy. The Ishq star isn’t happy with the script has shaped up. Nithiin liked the storyline narrated by the director and came forward to produce on his own banner.
After listening to the final narration of full bounded script Nithiin didn’t like many things in it. He asked for so many changes and the director is not pleased with Nithiin’s reaction it seems. With the differences cropping up between the two, Nitin has put this film on hold for the moment. He is planning to start Karunakaran’s film in this place.
Nithiin’s recent release Heart Attack turned out to be an average fare. His other film Courierboy Kalyan is caught in financial troubles. He can’t afford another average film at this point and hence Nithiin is not going to take any risks. He want his film to be perfect especially when it is directed by a debutante.
Will Sekhar Kammula’s Experiment Work?
Sekhar Kammula is taking a big risk with his upcoming film ‘Anaamika’. The movie is an adapted remake of the Bollywood hit ‘Kahaani’ and that film has received a lot of acclaim for its tight screenplay and thrilling suspense element.
Sekhar Kammula has tinkered with the storyline and the basic concept. While Vidya Balan will be seen as a pregnant lady throughout the film, Nayanathara will be seen as a normal lady in the movie. Another significant change is also said to be present in the movie.
A film like Kahaani worked because of an airtight screenplay and a thrilling story. With these elements removed from the plot, Sekhar Kammula is taking a big risk. Will his gamble pay off in Telugu? We will know soon. The movie will release this summer in Telugu and Tamil. Keeravani has scored the music for the film.
Legend is all Set to Release on March 28
There is a tradition in tollywood of breaking a gummadikaya (pumpkin) on the last day of a film’s shoot, Now Balayya starrer Legend has done the same thing today, This movie has been officially wrapped up including the patch work, And Gummadikaya ceremony was held at 14 Reels Entertainment office earlier today.
On the last day of the movie shoot , the makers have completed the item song of the movie. Hamsa Nandi shook her hip with Balayya in this song.On the other side, the rerecording and dubbing of the film are going on at brisk pace.
Legend is all set to go for the mandatory censor formalities on 21st of this month. The movie is being planned for March 28th release on the occasion of Ugadi festival.
There is a long weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Monday), so the makers expect the movie to rake huge collections if the initial talk is good. Balakrishna’s career best prices are being offered for the movie in all the areas.
This film is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta, Anil Sunkara and Sai Korrapati under 14 Reels Entertainment banner, and Varahi Chalana Chitram banner combined. Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring music for this high voltage entertainer, his first time for a Balakrishna movie and the audio has become a chartbuster already.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has plunged deep into politics and he is getting ready to address media for the second time next week. In the wake of this development, we wonder what happens to most hyped ‘Gabbar Singh 2′ but here is one serious development.
High power second edition of blockbuster ‘Gabbar Singh’ is what fans are waiting for from a time, before this ‘Jana Sena’ thing has set them on a new plane altogether. Pawan too uttered that he will be contemplating to quit movies for the sake of his political war against Congress party. In that case, what will happen to GS2 is the first question that comes to our mind. Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Durga’ Shelved
Looks like the trend of shelving films after launch is here in Tollywood. It was Venkatesh’s Radha yesterday and now it is the turn of Naga Chaitanya’s Durga under the direction of Srinivasa Reddy.
The film was recently launched in Hyderabad and some part of the movie shooting already took place. But the actor and his father, Nagarjuna is reportedly not satisfied with the script of the film.
Naga Chaitanya, Nagarjuna and Srinivasa Reddy sat in several script tailoring sessions but it did not yield results. So, they have decided to shelve the film for good.
Naga Chaitanya is awaiting the release of his Manam and Autonagar Surya. One of them, ANS is lying in cans due to financial problems and the other film, Manam will hit the screens after elections. Naga Chaitanya is shooting for his Oka Laila Kosam film.
Chiranjeevi should feel ashamed – Actor Suresh
Chiranjeevi the mega star in film industry is not at all liked by any of his fans for his behavior in Politics. Money and position changed him completely and he is no longer the real life hero for his fans. His political launch was grandly done and PRP ( Praja Rajyam) was also established in a grand way.
But later his party lost grip in politics and he finally merged it into Congress for a position. Recently Pawan kalyan launched a new party Jana sena but Chiru who failed to be successful in politics is degrading his brother party too by his comments saying Congress party is reason behind people to call themselves as Indians.
These comments shocked every single Indian and even film actor Suresh, he comments that Chiranjeevi should feel ashamed of him and think once before talking something like that. I am big fan of him in films but in politics is nothing but just a nut.
Chiru embarrassed Allu Arjun?
Megastar Chiranjeevi seemed somewhat emotional at the audio launch of Race Gurram. His smiles are not heartfelt and he looked pale and dull throughout the function. Melodrama dominated Megastar’s speech which was mostly uninteresting. Megastar also gave a class to Allu Arjun who forgot to mention the names of his producers in his speech.
Allu Arjun put himself into this awkward situation as he told Chiranjeevi that he forgot to mention the producers names. Chiranjeevi was already in a melodramatic state by that time and he started taking digs at the new generation heroes who are treating producers as cashiers. Allu Arjun was embarrassed at this and he looked uncomfortable when Chiranjeevi was talking about producers greatness.
Later Allu Arjun took the mic from Chiranjeevi and apologized to his producers. He should have simply waited until Chiranjeevi is done and apologized later which could have saved him from the embarrassment. Well, Allu Arjun didn’t see that coming and gave a chance for the Megastar to teach a ‘lesson’ on the greatness and importance of producers.
Tamanna demanding 15 Lakhs !
Of course, as producers are trying to cash on her glamour, she is in turn trying to make most out of every invitation. Tamanna became talk of town today for demanding 15 lakhs from a Telugu producer. Let us see why milky siren is demanding that.
On last Sankranthi, Tamanna’s action flick with Ajith in Tamil, ‘Veeram’ has released and entertained audiences to the core. And now, a Telugu producer is dubbing this movie into Telugu and is planning to release it as ‘Veerudokkade’ for this summer. When milky siren Tamanna was requested by this producer to grace for the audio launch, she demanded a whopping 15 lakhs to attend. While the producer tried to bargain the price, she declined to turn up at the event even if 1 rupee is listened. Apart from the price, flight tickets and hotel should also be provided.
Commenting on this, a noted producer said, ‘Telugu producers will be cashing on Veerudokkade only due to Tamanna factor here. So she is demanding some price to attend the audio launch. There is no wrong in it, as producers who invest few lakhs on these dubbed flicks are earning a crore here’. That’s Tammu for you folks
