Actor Naga Babu is known for his soft-spoken attitude. Mega fans had a soft-corner for Naga Babu until his recent video message where he came out in open against Pawan Kalyan, just a day ahead of his public meeting. Although Naga Babu said that he is sailing with Chiranjeevi, the question is who asked him? He gave a call to all Mega fans to support Chiru which drew flak from majority of Pawan’s fans. In fact, many are opining that Ram Charan’s reaction was far better thanrn Naga Babu’s video as Charan at least, stated that personally he is withrn his uncle Pawan.

The interesting talk doing rounds in Film Nagar is that Naga Babu has done this for the future of his doting song Varun Tej who is making his acting debut. Without the backing of Chiranjeevi, i.e., Allu Aravind who manage a chunk of theatres in the State, Varun’s future might be grim and dark. This apparently compelled to make this move and support Chiru, Aravind. We hear that Chiru has given a set of instructions to all family members on the issue. Charan, Arjun, Sirish, Varun Tej, Naga Babu are reportedly acting at the behest of Chiru.

All this is just rubbish, say few other Mega fans. Whatever, Naga Babu’s video statement has certainly divided Mega fans into two halves. Stay tuned for more developments.

People’s Reaction On Critics Of Pawan

There is a big platoon of critics now aiming solely at Pawan Kalyan and his ‘Jana Sena’. But Pawan’s followers are not bent by such detractors as they feel that when a person stands against tide, he will get some friction like this.

As Pawan Kalyan asked about the donations collected by Telangana Jagruthi’s Kavitha, TRS leaders are in turn asking how much Pawan collected as remuneration till date and how about the taxes he paid. Political observers feel that those who are unable to react on Pawan’s questions are simply following browbeating politics. The star hero has clearly asked TRS boss’ daughter to be answerable to public but not to him. Also, Pawan is not collecting donations, but he is charging a fee for his contribution to movie. Will Kavtiha’s followers now say that she too collected charge for running the organisation? Then there will be no meaning for revolution and fighting for rights of people.

Many say that politicians who haven’t stopped bifurcation or the deaths of hundreds of people in Telangana are now blasting Pawan just to enjoy a two minute fame in TV channels. Else, their words are nothing and they totally failed to understand the intentions of Pawan.

Director V.V Vinyak offered MP ticket!

It was not long ago, top director V.V Vinayak has stated that he may join politics. A political party seems to have taken this too seriously. It has offered Rajahmundry MP ticket for Vinayak.

“Yes it is true. A couple of days back, few politicians approached me to contest from Rajahmundry as MP. But I’m not interested in politics now. I conveyed the same to them,” says Vinayak. “As of now I’m focused on my upcoming fims. I need to wrap up Bellamkonda Suresh’s son’s project (tentatively titled Alludu Seenu),” he adds that he may take up politics in the future but not now.

Reacting on Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Jana Sena’, Vinayak has chosen his words quite diplomatically. “I’m not going to respond about Jana Sena. But Pawan expressed the anguish and pain of a common man, that’s true,” he says. Well, Vinayak for sure is keeping politics away for now, but truly there is a politician within him for the kind of diplomatic sense he had! Vinayak is known for his proximity with Chiranjeevi and at the same time his family got links with YS Jagan led YSR Congress party too.

Akkineni Hero gets Pawan Kalyan’s title

Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s grandson Sushant has been trying hard to make an impression as a hero. He already did three films as hero and is still waiting for the big break. After doing all his movies on his own banner, Sushant finally gets a chance to work in other production house. BVSN Prasad, the producer of Attarintiki Daredi will produce his next film with Sushant.

Prasad is known for making movies with only star heroes. Sushant should consider himself to get a chance to star under his banner. This film will be directed by G. Nageswara Reddy and the film’s title is Aradugula Bullet. This title needs no introduction. Besides starring in big banner Sushant also got a catchy and ‘Power’ful title.

Sushant’s previous film Adda did average business and he has been waiting for the right opportunity to try his luck as hero again. He got more than he can bargain for. This has to be his best shot as hero. We have to see if Sushant can leave a mark with this film and get busy as an actor.

Big drama around ‘Legend’ satellite rights?

Earlier there were reports that satellite rights of Balakrishna’s forthcoming release ‘Legend’ are picked up by Gemini TV for 8.5 crores. But here comes a shocking drama that got unfolded around this whole episode, which industry insiders are ranting a lot.

Two popular entertainment TV channels, MAA and Gemini have offered a price of 7 Crores initially, but the makers of Balakrishna’s latest commercial pot boiler demanded 8.5 crores to sell satellite rights. In fact, 14 Reels has to recover their losses from ‘1 Nenokkadine’ through their next projects like Legend, Aagadu and Dookudu Kannada remake. But in the last minute, due to a decision taken by I&B Ministry, Govt of India, Gemini stepped back from buying Legend, while MAA TV is now offering only 4.5 Crores, a source said. Why is this blow suddenly?

When price negotiations are going on, suddenly there is a directive from Information and Broadcasting ministry that only 12 minutes of advertisements per hour are allowed for all entertainment channels. In that case, a movie couldn’t be stretched for hours to incorporate more ads in between to earn more. That obviously affects the price a TV channel doles out for satellite rights of a top star’s movie. As the recovery options are low, they will quote low price for sure.

Because of government’s move, Legend’s satellite price got astronomically cut down to half of the original demand, but area-wise distributors of movie are approaching 14 Reels with big offers to release the movie.

Top heriones not doing THAT mistake!

There is one mistake called ‘The Shriya Mistake’ which is like a blue book for any heroine who is at the top slot. Right now, our big heroines have studied that mistake quite a lot that they are not repeating it at any cost under any pressure.

At the peak of her career, sultry siren Shriya has done a couple of mistakes that have cost her dear career. Otherwise she would have that star heroine status like Kareena Kapoor in North and Trisha in South. When all big heroes are running after Shriya, this hot lady has acted with dumb heroes and new comers, as their heroine and item girl. After that mistake, big heroes who used to run after this curvaceous siren never called her. Finally, that ended Shriya’s big journey.

Looking at this, heroines like Tamanna and Kajal haven’t given signal for a movie with a dumb hero who even offered them upto 2 crores as remuneration. Though both the heroines are completely free, they haven’t agreed to do that movie citing unavailability of dates. These girls remembered Shriya’s mistake folks!

NTR is real Race Gurram, not Bunny!

Allu Arjun might be doing title role in Race Gurram, but the real race horse among our Telugu heroes is NTR. Because he is the fastest hero among our younger generation heroes to knock at the ‘Quarter Century’ mark. NTR never take big breaks and always keep on working. He currently has four films in the pipeline and all of those are confirmed.

Rabhasa will release in June and before that NTR’s new film directed by Puri Jagannadh will start rolling. He also agreed to play the lead role in Vamsi Paidipalli’s multi-starrer that will have Nagarjuna doing the other lead role. Sukumar and Trivikram are committed to do their next films with NTR.

Young Tiger will be busy until the first half of 2016 with all these projects. No other star hero has so many films in the pipeline. Everyone is taking one or two at a time, but NTR is racing ahead of everyone with so many films and still maintaining good success rate.

Colours Swathi and her political plans!

Although she is not part of any big blockbusters, Colours Swathi’s name strikes a chord instantly. The spunky siren has got no regrets for slowing down of her career though she got big offer in commercial circuits. Brushing this aside, Swathi does have political plans.

In a candid chat, popular anchor, actress, singer and dubbing artist Swathi Reddy alias Colours Swathi revealed her thoughts about becoming Chief Minister of state. As her what she wants to do if she becomes a CM, Swathi says, “I want to build a corruption free society and construct fast track courts in all villages such that justice will not be delayed anymore.” Maybe Swathi’s dream in real life could get little tougher, but she could cherish it on silver screen if such a role comes to her.

On films side, Swathi’s latest release ‘Bangaru Kodi Petta’ hasn’t laid her with any golden eggs. She will be waiting eagerly for her next ‘Karthikeya’ where she paired up with Nikhil for the second time. Maybe the cute actress should pick up some happening scripts, and let’s hope Karthikeya will be one that give her big break!

Pawan big threat to Jagan?

It’s common fact that beleaguered Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is undergoing trail in Disproportionate Assets case, is out on bail. With massive corruption charges against him including alleged quid pro quo investments by various companies into Jagan’s firms and recently ED (Enforcement Directorate) too seizing his Rs 863 crore worth assets, Jagan is stuck between rock and hard place.

So, 2014 elections are going to be a do-or-die kinda situation for Jagan Reddy. He desperately want to win the battle by hook or crook to come out of criminal cases against him.

With Pawan Kalyan’s Friday speech getting thunderous response as it instantly scored brownie points, Jagan Reddy’s fear is looming large. Although Pawan openly stated that he would work with any party that is against to Congress, YSR Congress leaders are afraid that Pawan would join forces with TDP. Well, here is the reason. Pawan Kalyan in 2009 openly revolted against then Congress lead by Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy. Pawan had taken on Rajasekhar Reddy’s government to the core over corruption accusations then. Since Pawan is not a man who often changes his stance for political opportunities, it is clear that he won’t back Jagan who is mired in corruption. Jagan Reddy & Co. is scared that Pawan’s Jana Sena would marginalize Jagan’s votes which would benefit TDP. On other hand, TRS and Kavitha too not dared to respond to Pawan’s allegations. With single press conference, Pawan has scared tall leaders like Jagan and KCR. That’s Pawan Kalyan for you folks! –

An Open letter to Chiranjeevi!

With due respect sir,

I’m writing to you after deeply saddened with your yesterday’s comments on Mr Pawan Kalyan and his newly born Jana Sena Party. I’d like to tell you that you have no moral right to question Pawan Kalyan. Well, he might be directly related to you. But in public domain, Pawan is way ahead and far better than you. And here are my reasons. Pawan is fighting for people, fighting for justice, fighting for common man unlike you. No matter, what is the path he has chosen but he stick to his principles which you haven’t done. I’d have appreciate you if you would have at least try to follow Pawan but in vain.

Your statement on Pawan’s Jana sena is bolt out of the blue. You’re asking him ‘clarity’ in his policies, ideology, agenda of Jana Sena which is just born. Sir, Why didn’t you ask the same ‘clarity’ from your age-old Congress party in various important issues? Why didn’t you ask the same ‘clarity’ in developing new capital to successor state of AP? Why didn’t you ask the same ‘clarity’ on what is the actual amount of funds going to be allotted to the new state of AP? Why didn’t you ask the same ‘clarity’ in most-defective AP Reorganization Bill 2013 (which does need few constitutional amendments)? Why didn’t you ask the same ‘clarity’ with your Congress party that who is going to be your party’s Prime Ministerial candidate (as elections is just 47 days away)? Why didn’t you ask your party about the ‘clarity’ on what is going to be the new capital city? Why didn’t you ask your party about the ‘clarity’ in umpteen scams, scandals (From 2G, 3G, Coal-block allocations, Common Wealth Games scam to recent naval fiascoes)?

You’ve been reiterating that Congress is the last one to take a call in AP bifurcation. The very statement itself says that Congress is late! Above all, Pawan Kalyan and many others are questioning the “process of division” and “the way defective bill is haphazardly passed in Parliament amidst blackout”. I’m sure you agree that your own party Congress is in power. Hence, for the “process” of State division, Congress alone should be blamed. Since you’re in the party and you’re Union Minister in Manmohan Singh’s cabinet, you can’t escape the blame. You’re dubbing Pawan Kalyan as “emotional”. I’d like to tell you that all the youths, across the nation, have similar anger, emotion, outburst against Congress. Mr Pawan Kalyan has just reflected us. Pawan is just mirror image to us.

Coming to Mr Pawan Kalyan, he may or may not become a superstar without you. That doesn’t mean he should back you in all ‘sins’, ‘historical blunders’ and ‘faux paus’ you commit. There is a popular dialogue in Pawan’s Panjaa: “Sayam pondina vadu Kruthagnatha chupinchakapodam entha Thappo, Sayam chesina vadu kruthagnatha korukodam kuda anthe Thappu”. Pawan Kalyan, has strictly followed this. Pawan has given due respect to you including in his Friday speech. He openly stated that you’re his father figure. He shielded you his best although he has every possibility to make you red-faced. What you have done is non-negotiable and non-pardanoble. The day before Pawan’s Friday meet, you send in your another brother Naga Babu to send a video message to your fans openly stating not to support Pawan. The very next day after Pawan’s speech, you yourself came out in open to criticize his party and asking him ‘clarity’. People are closely watching everything.

Since you’re in public domain, I’ve every right to criticize you no matter what your fans (if there are anyone still) say. Since I voted you in 2009, I’ve every right to question you for betraying us and merging with Congress. What is the social-justice you have attained after merging PRP into Congress? What is social-justice according to you sir? Is Rajya Sabha seat and Union Minister post mean social-justice?

Yesterday, your colleague-former state minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad stated that Pawan cannot be Chiru’s successor in politics and stated that he and others (present Congress leaders from Seemandhra) are the true successors. We totally agree with you DOkka. Pawan won’t be part of such worst legacy. You’re all opportunistic politicians who’re still backing Congress as you don’t have any alternative for your political career. Your political career is more important for you than people. You’re all politicians whereas Pawan Kalyan is a statesman (as he stated that position, power are very minute things to him).

At last, Mr Chiranjeevi, people are fed-up with your 125-yr-old party. Your party is old, sick and gone with the wind. You and your party is now history. We want new blood. We want new political parties and new politics. The need of the hour is “New politics for new generation”. I sincerely, suggest you to retire from politics. Why because, respect on you has been decreasing day-by-day. Or at least, now you should quit Congress without a thought and may join Jana Sena Party if Pawan accepts you (As he stated that there is no chance for jumpers). It’s better late, than never. History, people won’t forgive you for being part of blunders. Time will tell everything.

Flash: Ganta’s son Ravi Teja arrested

Former Minister Ganta Srinivas’ son Ravi Teja was arrested on Monday in premises of Shamshabad. Shamshabad police have booked Ravi Teja and his friend Indrajith for creating ruckus near Shamshabad airport. The duo was in inebriated condition, according to police.

According to sources, Ganta Ravi Teja and his friend Indrajith went to city’s posh Travelers’ Bar, which is open for 24 hours considering foreign customers, in Shamshabad Airport on Sunday midnight at around 12 AM. Ravi Teja and Indrajith apparently drunk like fishes. In the wee hours, they had a heated argument with Bar crew. When crew suggested them to vacate the venue, the accused reportedly manhandled them. They even broke a counter.

Acting on tip, cops rushed to the spot and took them into custody. Since Monday is Holi, Bars and Restaurants are said to be Bandh. A nuisance case has been filed on Ganta Ravi Teja and Indrajith. The duo are likely to be produced in the court Tomorrow as today is ‘Holi’day.

Sukumar has to do his next film for BVSN Prasad as per agreement. Prasad thought of bringing Sukumar and NTR together. But suddenly Puri Jagannadh caught the spot light. Samantha is now Paragon Girl

Samantha has signed yet another brand endorsement deal and this time she’s going to be the brand ambassador for Paragon, a leading footwear company. In the past, she had endorsed other top brands like Dabur Vatika and Lux, apart from several other saree brands.

Confirming the news, Samantha posted on Twitter saying, “Now I don’t mind going back to work cantcomplain. Really happy to announce my association with Paragon. Shooting their commercial in Chennai.” Earlier this month, Samantha took sometime off and went on a vacation to London. Now, she’s back in India and she is expected to join the sets of her upcoming film Rabhasa sometime soon.

Pawan to meet Narendra Modi soon !

Going by sources, Pawan Kalyan is going to meet BJP PM candidate-Gujarat CM Narendra Modi very soon. “Pawan Kalyan may meet Modi Tomorrow (March 17). If not, Pawan will meet Modi during the latter’s visit to Vijayawada which is scheduled to take place this month end,” top sources in the know revealed. We hear that Narendra Modi too quite impressed with a youngster and popular actor like Pawan. Pawan, who floated his own political outfit Jana Sena and given a call ‘Congress Hatao, Desh Bachao’, has taken youth by storm.
