Nandamuri Balakrishna is nearing to milestone 100th film is working very hard in selection of script for this project. Although many big names are making rounds for the venture, name of Varahi Chalanachithra is in front to produce it. Anyways, a strong talk emerging now in film circles is NBK do not want to make any of his producers suffer is thinking of taking the risk on own both as a producer and director for this prestigious flick. Just few months ago, Balayya roared like a lion at BO with ‘Legend’ but he do not want any of his old films flavor to enter into 100th film.

Mostly a socio fantasy subject or mythological script can do the justice for Balakrishna‘s talent. Currently, NBK is busy with the shooting of tentatively titled ‘Godse,’ directed by debutant Sathya Deva, produced by Rudrapati Ramana Rao. Despite many top producers are standing in queue to work with Balayya paying huge remunerations, he is thiniking in a new dimension of becoming hero, producer and director.

‘Rabhasa’ is the phenomenon now. Cine lovers are fervently waiting for the first day first show, which starts by 9 am tomorrow at many theatres in AP and Telangana. Of course, hardcore fans have this privilege of watching a ‘benefit show’ at 6 am only. Jubilation aside, what are the records NTR going to smash or create on day one?
 
Already Junior has lost it to Mahesh when it comes to creating a record with number of screens screening the movie on first week. Superstar’s ‘1’ got released in 1400+ theatres, while Rabhasa got close to just 1200, securing second place. Coming to first day collections, Jr NTR created magic twice earlier despite those two flicks not being big champs in the long run. At 10.75 Crores, Attarintiki Daredi stands first when it comes to ‘record’ day-one collection for a Telugu movie in Andhra, Ceded, Nizam combined. Surprisingly, Baadshah followed it with 9.25 Cr, while flopbuster Ramayya Vastavayya made 8.75 Cr to stand at third place on the pedestal.

Next two places are occupied by Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu and Yevadu, both ending up with a figure of 8.65 Crores collection on day one. Where will Rabhasa stand after its release tomorrow in this Top 5? Will NTR create any new record to find a new position in top one, or will he break Attarintiki Daredi’s record to become the King of Day One? A decisive tomorrow!

Sometime ago we have reported that Daggubati Rana is going to act in a family entertainer film to be directed by Solo fameParasuram. The film was titled Chuttalabbayi and was supposed to be produced by Rana’s father, Suresh Babu. However the project did not go on floors for some reason and now Parasuram approached Naga Chaitanya with the script.

We do not know why Rana refused to do this film, But Naga Chaitanya was very much impressed with the script and immediately gave his nod for the project. A popular production house will be funding this project. The film is expected to start rolling from early next year after Naga Chaitanya completes his current project with Swamy Ra Ra fame Sudhir Varma.

Naga Chaitanya is currently on a high even though his recent film, Autonagar Surya failed at the box office. He is buoyed with the success of his previous film, the Akkineni Multistarer Manam which has got him commercial success as well as good marks as an actor. His other film Oka Laila Kosam is gearing up for September release. The music and trailers of the film managed to impress the audience and keep them curious.

Critics feel that Akhil should opt for a simple love story or action drama like a Mahesh, Bunny and Charan whose first flicks are regular masala ones. It’s up to Nag and Akhil anyway!

Undeterred by the poor reviews received for Ice Cream, Director Ram Gopal Varma wants to make Ice Cream a bigger franchise. While a sequel to Ice Cream, Ice Cream 2, is already underway, he now wants to churn out one ‘Ice Cream’ per every month.

RGV himself confirmed the news. While Ice Cream 2 is due for release on Sep 19, Ice Cream 3 will be hitting the floors on Sept 15 and Ramasatyanarayana will be producing this flick as well. He is now planning to come up with one Ice Cream per every month. The question is are there any takers for his Ice Cream? 

No doubts about the fan following and craze that Young Tiger NTR has among the masses. Despite having tremendous fan following, NTR is somehow not performing up to his range of late. His last biggest blockbuster was Simhadri, which was released a decade ago. Even though NTR scored super hits with Yama Donga, Brindavanam and Badshah, they are not huge blockbusters like Pokiri or Magadheera or Attarintiki Daredi.
           
NTR is yet to score a fifty crore hit. He doesn’t have single industry hit to his name. Prabhas and Allu Arjun are also improving their range with each film and Ram Charan who made debut seven years ago is setting box office on fire on a consistent basis. NTR is considered as one of the top contenders for number one position in Tollywood.
 
It is high time NTR proves his stamina and shut the mouths of his critics. NTR’s critics are keenly looking at Rabhasa to see how well the star can pull this off. He will surely receive so much flak if the film underperforms. Let’s hope NTR scores a big hit to prove his stamina once for all.

Missing out the much hyped August 29th release date, Naga Chaitanya’s latest romantic entertainer ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ got pushed to September again, which we already know. But this change in release date hasn’t affected the flick from going through Censor scissors.
 
As planned, the Board examined ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ last evening and awarded with a pretty U/A. Tipped to be a decent romantic entertainer, the flick has youthful hero Chaitu and beautiful Pooja Hegde in the leads, romancing their way. Censor talk is that, director Vijay Kumar Konda has once again come up with a colorful love story like his previous flick, Gundejari Gallantayyinde.
 
First half of the movie is a complete comic caper, while second half had major emotions churned to give warmth of love. Then they say that there are couples of adult jokes and an intense romantic scene between the lead couple, which pushed them to give U/A. Possibly, a cool breeze of romance is in the air for cine lovers.
