We couldn’t call it a conspiracy, but it is an act of saving their own investment which will now cost ‘Aagadu’ buyers. While ‘Power’ release postponement is purely due to delay in Censor Certificate issue, the question lies in why was the movie sent to Board much earlier.

In fact, buzz is that Rabhasa, Power and Govindudu Andarivadele are owned by same ‘big’ distributors in a couple of areas. Had ‘Rabhasa’ scored well, there would have been no issues. But Jr NTR’s colossal failure with a routine formulaic flick affected box-office returns severely. Main reason for deferring ‘Power’ release by another week is to give Rabhasa more time to recover some investment, say sources. Also if ‘Power’ releases on 12th, then Aagadu on 19th, and will it is possible for ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ to bag theatres?

They say already Rabhasa theatres are in agreement to be given to ‘Power’ and from October 1st they will be over to Govindudu. In that case ‘Aagadu’ will have same limited theatres and may not be getting upper hand at good centers. Looks like, Mahesh film is being pushed into tight spot. 

Deeply upset with the mediocre response ‘Rabhasa’ is getting, Jr NTR is seriously thinking about image makeover. He wants to star in couple of family centric films and love stories with simple mass-touch, and want to leave these swords and punch dialogues aside. His latest move is suggesting this theory anyway.
 
Super hit Malayalam movie ‘Bangalore Days’ is being remade into Telugu now by a star producer. There is no clarity yet over star-cast, but talk is that Siddharth, Samantha and Arya are playing lead roles to make it a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Given the chemistry between Sid and Sam has many ‘secret’ meanings, makers are thinking that this Bommarillu Bhaskar directorial will work big time. Latest we heard is that NTR has evinced interest in our ‘Orange’ maker, and he even liked ‘Bangalore Days’ so much. If equations work out, then NTR might star in this fantastic remake, rather any regular hero.
 
Cine observers however feel that this youthful flick will not be matching NTR’s stamina, though it matches his age. Already he is a superstar with larger-than-life image. Will it be now possible to make a paradigm shift of his mass image and stardom? Only Jr NTR knows it well. 

Manchu Manoj has also entered the ‘teaser’ race with his latest flick ‘Current Theega’, a G Nageshwar Reddy directorial. Living up to his Rocking Star image, he delivered a stunner with a powerful opening and a teasing punch dialogues.
 
With ‘Aagadu’ opening the season of punch dialogoues, Manoj too joined the brigade. Throwing a satire at those who boast about their family and blood, Manoj says ‘Chettu pero Jaathi pero cheppukovadaaniki nenu kayo pando kaadu. Current Theega’, says Manoj, taking a sharp criticism at his goons. Action packed 30 second teaser of ‘Current Theega’ is giving goose bumps for sure. Marking the debut of Sunny Leone in Telugu, this flick has Rakul Preet Singh playing the lead.
 
Currently post-production is undergoing for this action-packed entertainer, and the flick is aiming an October release. Manchu Vishnu is producing this flick for his doting brother.

This film was supposed to hit the screens on September 5th and our sources have revealed the reasons for the delay of this film. A distributor has bought the Ceded rights of Rabhasa, Power and Govindhudu Andarivadele.

In the same way, Dil Raju bought the Nizam area rights of these three films. Both these films are ready to hit the screens within a gap of 2 weeks. However, Super Star Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu is set for September 19 release and this has become a major problem for the other distributors. In order to cut-down the theaters count for Aagadu, both Nizam and Ceded distributors have worked out and plan and decided to postpone ‘Power’ release.

They are confident about ‘Power’ and if the film gets a good talk, distributors won’t be ready to ready to vacate the theaters for Aagadu. By doing this, collections for Power and Govindhudu Andarivadele will have an edge and Aagadu might lose some theaters. Buzz says that the distributors of Power and Govindudu Andarivadele have planned to give a tough time for Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu.

Maverick film maker puri jagannath and his wife Lavanya have got a relief with anticipatory bail granted by Nampally court in a case linked to land dispute and repayment of loans to SBI. Into the issue, Puri owned 1000 Sq Feet of land in Jubilee Hills on which he secured a loan of Rs.5 Crores. During a real estate deal with one of the construction company, Puri paid 2.5 Crores to bank to clear a part of loan and the construction company which has built apartments agreed to clear the remaining due.

As the particular company failed to repay the pending amount, Bank served notices to Puri and all the residents in those apartments. When these residents and apartment owners filed the case on Puri, the director and his wife Lavanya in return applied for anticipatory bail. Legal experts say that, this would not completely save Puri and only once if the construction company comes in front to solve the controversy, the issue can be considered as closed.

The mixed result of ‘Rabhasa’ might affect the future projects of director Santosh Srinivas who took sweet long time to come up with second film after a first hit of ‘Kandireega.’ Believing in Bellamkonda Suresh production strength and Junior NTR’s commercial worth, he made ‘Rabhasa’ with a weak story and paled out script. Yet the result is not that bad because openings were just thumping.

However, Santosh declared recently to direct Allu Arjun for the next project titled as ‘thikka regithe.’ Looking at the result of ‘Rabhasa’ there will be definite questions to arise from Allu camp on script quality of this new flick. We might have to wait and see for few more weeks to get more updates on whether ‘thikka regithe’ still exists or killed much before evolvement.

Imitating actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna, YSR Congress MLA and former heroine Roja irked Nandamuri fans today. Commenting about Balayya while spending a fun time with friends in Andhra Pradesh assembly lobby, Roja has forgotten that Balayya is a honorable MLA and mimicked him like a Jabardasth comedian.

During many of his speeches, incumbent Hindupur MLA Balayya has this unique habit of drawing reference to his father legendary NTR’s times, and starts his lines saying ‘Aah Rojullo.. Nannagaru…’. They are planning to star NTR in the Telugu remake. NTR is currently shooting for Puri Jagannadh’s next tentatively titled ‘Neno Rakam’. The film is slated for Sankranthi 2015 release. NTR may shoot simultaneously for Vamshi Paidipalli project and this project. NTR’s Rabhasa has collected 22 Crores approximately in the first four days of its release and is heading towards a big flop. This the straight second flop of the actor after Ramayya Vasthavayya and is under tremendous pressure to perform.
