Chiru’s 150th Film – A 2014 Political Stunt?
The news of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback into films and his 150th appearance on silver screen had created huge applause a week back not just on twitter, but also in all corners of Tollywood. This grapevine is a refreshing treat for Mega fans, but it is being a stunt for observers who are watching it from another perspective.
At a time when majority sections from Seemandhra are blasting Chiranjeevi for his lack of skills in handling the bifurcation issue, and rating him as a failure who failed to stop division of state, this 150th film news has raised new hopes. All of a sudden, people have forgotten the political issues, and started raving a lot about this magnum opus project. Also some speculations like director Shankar handling the movie, and some saying that VV Vinayak is entrusted with the job of preparing story have created ripples everywhere. Adding more, it is also reported on media that Charan is setting up his production house, which will be led by his wife Upasna. Looking at all these developments, cine lovers are just floating above the clouds imagining the comeback of Chiranjeevi. But analysts say that there is a chance of all this ending up as a stunt also.
If we look closely, Chiranjeevi got no time before the elections to start up his 150th project. At the least, he is not in a position even to attend the audio launches of Mega heroes too. In that case, this film will not start until the whole situation changes in AP, until the dark clouds on future of Seemandhra get cleared. Before that, Chiru will not find ideal time to start his flick, and will also feel upshots from certain sections of state, say analysts. So, our celebrated matinee idol may not take off his 150th project any soon, so any news related to it will not be materializing. Only they all end up as political stunts that can give mileage to Chiranjeevi in 2014 elections, if he loves to come back and contest.
Anyway, truth is always bitter, so all the unpredicted will also happen sometimes, and Chiru may start his 150th film pushing everything aside. Let us expect the unexpected too!
Is this hero acting for free?
Nara Rohit, who has been around for quite sometime, is yet to make a mark as hero. Despite having strong family background and recognition, Rohit hasn’t been successful as film star. He doesn’t have single hit to his credit apart from Solo, which was an average grosser. But that isn’t affecting Rohit’s career. Producers are still running after him.

Is it because of his minimum paycheck or is he willing to act for free to prove himself as a hero first? Whatever might be the reason, Rohit is extremely busy now and he cannot be this busy forever unless he scores a hit and proves his mettle. Prathinidhi looks like it could fetch him the first hit. KCR declares war on Rayala Telangana
K Chandrasekhar Rao, TRS president has called for a total bandh in Telangana in protest against Rayala Telagnana on December 5th, the day UPA cabinet sat for a final approval of the T state.
TRS is totally opposed to the Rayala Telangana and all other anti Telangana initiatives and proposals put forth by the GoM and will not rest till the ‘Total Telangana’ of your dreams is achieved, he thundered.
KCR says the new proposal is just subverting commitment for Telangana with 10 districts. ‘Even the common capital is a strange phenomena and UA setting up a bad precedent and trend ‘he said adding that a conspiracy is being hatched against Telangana.
The TRS president says that ‘We will not accept Rayala Telangana and we will launch another battle if necessary’. TRS which is organizing training program for party cadres will conduct protest demos on Dec.4th against Rayala Telangana and any conditions and also Telangana bandh on December 5th.

Mahesh babu Aagadu Movie Release Date
Mahesh babu after a long shooting days of Nenokkaidne is now again on track for his next film “Aagadu” which is directed by Srinu Vytla. Aagadu is also expected to have a lot of comedy and action from Mahesh, Both Mahesh and Srinu vytla’s previous flick Dookudu movie created many records which brings more burden on Aagadu team.

NTR applies brakes to Joru?
Word of grapevine doing rounds in tinsel town is that the shooting of Jr NTR’s upcoming film Joru (Tentatively titled) has been halted for time being.
The rumoured reason: Jr NTR is not convinced with the script work of Santosh Srinivas. Apparently NTR has given his nod to the film after Santosh narrated a single line story to the Simhadri star. Talk is that NTR realized that there is no clarity in script only after the film went to floors. Miffed NTR reportedly wanted to shelve the project. However, producer Bellamkonda Suresh stepped in and convinced the NTR that Santosh would come up with promising script.
So, this project is back to scripting stage and it will move on further only after Santosh improvises the script and impresses NTR with a bound script. Looks like, NTR has become more cautious than before. Little birdie is wondering whether it’s the affect of his recent debacle Ramayya Vasthavayya.
Guess who this disguised actress is?
Yes, you read it right. The person in the above photo is an actress but not an actor. Believe it or not, this is national-award winning heroine Vidya Balan in her forthcoming film Bobby Jasoos and it’s her first look still in the film. Vidya, who was concealing her true identity, spotted as a beggar outside Hyderabad railway station.

Nayantara: Rs 2 crore, but no hug!
Nayantara to pair up with her ex-flame Simbhu is common knowledge by now and for that, she is charging him a bomb, reportedly Nayan is taking a fee of Rs 2 crore for the project. But the latest is that the actress has refused to hug Simbhu in the proposed project and that’s her condition to the director.

Botsa admitted in Care Hospital
Hours before the state cabinet meeting, PCC chief and state Transport minister Botsa Satyanarayana admitted to a corporate hospital after he complied of feeling ill.
Botsa is being treated at the Care Hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. His health is being monitored by medical practitioners. He was suffering from sour throat.
Sources said Botsa informed through his personal staff to the Chief Minister’s office about his poor health condition and his absence to the cabinet meeting.

Sonia Gandhi is the 12th richest world leader, ahead of Queen Elizabeth of Britain, Albert II, Prince of Monaco and several heads of oil-rich middle-east nations, a report in Huffington Post World says.Huff Post World has calculated each world leader’s personal wealth against his or her country’s GDP to compile a list of Top 20 richest leaders “just to show how different life is for the haves and have-nots,” it says.
“Unsurprisingly, many of their country’s citizens lead much, much humbler lives,” the report notes.At number 12, it puts Mrs Gandhi’s worth at $ 2 billion (Rs. 12,000 crore). Valdimir Putin, president of Russia, tops the list and President Barack Obama of the US does not find place on it. “To put it in perspective, President Obama may be worth several million dollars, but he does not even come close to some of (his) contemporaries,” says the report.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is certainly on a roll. He is unstoppable since Dookudu and high expectations are riding on his upcoming film 1 as well. This film has been made on a humongous budget and people thought that the producers will find it hard to breakeven. Guess what! 1 has created history prior to the release and the producers are smiling all the way to the bank.
Eros International has strike a deal with 14 Reels Entertainment and fetched total rights of 1 Nenokkadine for a staggering Rs. 72 crore. Although this figure isn’t stated officially, buzz from the film nagar is strong that the deal has been finalized for 72 crore. Eros will hold total rights of the film including satellite, audio and DVD rights.
With this 1 has created history in pre release business. Now this film will have to collect more than 72 crores to breakeven. Satellite and other rights can fetch upto 10 to 12 crores. So 1 should collect a share of Rs. 60 crore from the theatricals to enter profit zone. Quite a big ask, but with the current form of Mahesh Babu, decent talk on first day is enough for 1 to break into the All time Top 3 hits of Tollywood .
Allu Arjun dominates Ram Charan
Ram Charan is undoubtedly bigger star in terms of box office range despite Allu Arjun’s seniority. Chiranjeevi’s son tag is the biggest asset for Ram Charan and mega fans owns him and ranks him higher than Allu Arjun irrespective of their respective talents. However, Allu Arjun is the biggest star in Kerala than any Telugu star at the moment.
We have seen Ram Charan’s movies being promoted as Allu Arjun’s cousin’s films in Mallu land. Allu Arjun has fan clubs in Kerala state and his fans do lots of hungama for his releases over there. A love-pair on silver screen should look so promising that they are made for each other. If there is anything wrong in casting, then the whole movie will go for a toss. We have seen many failed movies due to wrong casting despite a stunning story.
There are reports that cute beauty Nitya Menon is playing the role of Gona Gannareddy’s lady love in the movie ‘Rudramadevi’. Though there is no clarity, people say Mahesh Babu is playing this role on request of director Gunasekhar. In that case, apparently Mahesh is over six feet in height and we all know where Nitya stands. No doubt, if the pair has to walk by each other, they don’t complement each other well. in the past, short actresses like Bhumika have worked with Mahesh, but Nitya is shorter than even such old hotties. So, if Mahesh and Nitya are going to be paired then how Gunasekhar is going to handle the height issue is something to be seen.
Else, there is also news for a while that Raviteja agreed to play this character in Gunasekhar’s movie, but for now there is no sound from ‘Rudramadevi’ team about Gona Gannareddy. Also, as Nitya Menon’s work in the movie is confirmed, we have to see what role she is actually playing.
