Though Chiranjeevi is away from Tollywood and acting from some time he always makes it a point to be connected through one way or the other. Some say he feels very energetic and excited to be part of film events than politics. But now it is heard that Chiru is getting worried with one film. It is titled as ‘Jai Bolo Samaikyandhra’.

More than the title of the film it is heard that the film will have Sobha Rani, the former PRP leader who is reportedly very upset with Chiranjeevi. Buzz is that Sobha Rani is busy spreading a word that the film will have a very noted hero and many are guessing it could be none other than Chiranjeevi himself.

The Samaikyandhra movement has caused a lot of headache for Chiranjeevi from a long time and if anything relatively close to him is shown in this film and that too from Sobha Rani then it is going to be a lot of dampener for his image. We have to see how the megastar is going to survive this onslaught.

Notwithstanding the political turmoil in the state, Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s recent offing Attarintiki Daaredi is money-spinner at the ticket windows. And the case is no different in overseas. Shattering all the previous records, Pawan has ‘joined’ Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan.

Bollywood’s renowned critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “What *most* Hindi films don’t collect in entire lifetime from Overseas, Attarintiki Daredi has collected in 3 days flat from US alone. Super. AttarintikiDaredi has created History in USA, smashing all previous records and setting new ones. Features in Top 15 grossers this weekend.”

He added, “Top 3 openers in USA in 2013 [opng wknd]: #ChennaiExpress $ 2.22 million, #YJHD $ 1.56 million, #AttarintikiDaredi $ 1.52 mn/$ 1.74 million.”

Going by reports, the movie is expected to set new box-office records in T-town as well.

Chiru Quits Ministry, Undavalli Quits Congress

Both Union minister Chiranjeevi and Rajahmundry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar are quick to respond against the Cabinet Committee giving approval for the creation of Telangana state.

Megastar Chiru submitted resignation to Tourism minister post, while Undavalli has quit from Congress membership itself. Another Congress MP, Ananta Venkataramireddy from Anantapur too resigned to his post. Also Textile minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and HRD minister Pallam Raju are also contemplating to quit to their posts.

‘The way government took this decision, and the very decision of bifurcating Andhra Pradesh irked me’, said Undavalli after quitting from Congress party. ‘From last two months Seemandhra people are protesting on roads without any leader heading them. Their protests should have been top priority of Congress rather suppressing them this way’, he added.

At the same time, heavy forces are deployed in Seemandhra region in the wake of protests against approval of Telangana not by Cabinet. Already AP NGOs have called for 48 hour bandh, while YSR-Congress called for 72 hours bandh with effect from Thursday midnight.

Nandamuri Fans angry with Pawna Kalyan !?

Nandamuri fans are now extremely angry with Power Star Pawan Kalyan and his fans. Till recently just like other fans they used to fight on their heroes qualities and stardom on silver screen. Now they are taking their war on social networking sites to new level.

While Pawan Kalayn’s fans are daring Nandamuri fans that they are using Pawan’s name and image to get votes since they are not confident of Balakrishna, Nandamuri fans are hanging their heads in shame.

This happened due to TDP using posters with Pawan Kalyan and Balakrishna together along with Chandra Babu and Sr NTR. Some fans suspect there is some conspiracy in using Pawan Kalyan’s photos rather than Young Tiger NTR.

Earlier they were happy when news cameout that Pawan might be joining TDP. However even before this Pawan’s posters in TDP promos are causing discomfort to fans. TDP is in dilemma as earlier they criticised YSRCP for using Pawan, Prabhas and NTR’s photos.

If his fans want to see and listen to Power Star, they should only come to the audio function of his films. Ramayya Vastavayya is just a week away from hitting the marquee. But still there is no sign of NTR talking about his film. Central Cabinet Approves Telangana Note

After two long hours of dramatic meeting, Central Cabinet has approved the formation of Telangana state for which a table note was placed before the committee this evening. Union minister Sushil Shinde confirmed to media that cabinet has approved the Telangana note.

‘Creation of a new state of Telangana with 10 districts as members and Hyderabad as a capital by bifurcating existing state of Andhra Pradesh is approved by the Cabinet committee, while Hyderabad will remain as joint capital for 10 years for both states’, said Shinde.

Reports have that Seemandhra ministers Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and Pallam Raju have strictly opposed the Telangana note as it is quite insulting and uncaring for the feelings of Seemandhra people.

‘Irrespective of the protests put up by Seemandhra people from last 62 days against the bifurcation decision made by Congress working committee, it is quite disgusting that Congress government’s cabinet committee has approved the formation of Telangana’, said TDP leader Payyavula Kesav.

Cabinet withdraws ordinance bill

The union cabinet Wednesday decided to withdraw the controversial ordinance and the bill to protect convicted lawmakers, days after open criticism by Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.

The cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, took the decision to withdraw the ordinance in a 20 minute sitting.”The union cabinet met today and it was unanimously decided that both the ordinance, with regard to certain sections of the Representation of Peoples Act, as well as the bill would be withdrawn,” Union Minister Manish Tewari told reporters after the meeting.

Lawrence injured on the sets

Ace Choreographer-turned-Director Raghava Lawrence sustained a serious injury while rehearsing for a dance moments on the sets of his upcoming flick ‘Muni 3 – Ganga’.

As per the unit members, Lawrence was doing a rehearsal of a complex moment and it was then he suddenly slipped, fell on the ground. He hurt his neck and hands in this incident. Immediately, he was rushed to Ramachandra Medical Center where he was treated for 20 days and got discharged recently.

Doctors have informed that Physiotherapy will be provided to Lawrence at his residence from now. They advised him to take complete bed rest for 3 more months.

Lawrence explained, “Shooting of Muni 3 first half is done. I would be working on the second half only after complete recovery as it involves many risky sequences. Hopefully, I will be back on my feet soon. Thanks to Raghavendra Swamy and also my Doctors”.

‘Muni 3 – Ganga’ stars Lawrence and Tapsee in lead roles. While Lawrence is also directing this thriller, Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it. The release has been shifted to Summer 2014 due to the injury.

Pawan Kalyan apologised to AD unit

Pawan Kalyan is one of the very few heroes who are known for their golden heart and this is once again proven with ‘Atharintiki Daredi’.

The climax scene where Pawan delivers settled performance has increased the repeat value of the movie. Apparently, there is an interesting story behind the filming of this sequence. Trivikram took two months for just the climax block and Pawan had tears in his eyes when the director narrated it to him. During the filming of this sequence, Pawan got emotional and asked the rest of unit members who weren’t part of the scene to vacate the place immediately to avoid any distractions.

In the press meet, Ali revealed, “Pawan Kalyan garu asked everyone of us to disappear from that spot. After the completion of the scene, he asked all of us to come in and apologized to each of us even though an actor of his stature needn’t have to say sorry to small artistes. He is such a good person! Today, people have been watching the film repeatedly for that particular scene.”

“Once again I am apologizing to all the artistes, technicians and everyone on the sets on that particular day on behalf of Pawan Kalyan. It was Pawan who asked me to say this in the press meet as he wasn’t present here,” he added.

A person named Madan who has set up the deal and used to act as pimp for the actress fled from the scene just before police arrived. Police say that he holds key to more actresses who are involved with prostitution.

Special Task Force ACP Govardhan Reddy revealed that this actress is part of serials like Himabindu and Laya, and when her dreams of becoming queen on small-screen are going slow she jumped into this sex-racket. During the whole of press-meet, the TV serial actress, her face covered with a mask, wept inconsolably.

As expected Attarintiki Daredi took a wonderful start at the box office and created history in terms of opening weekend collections. The film has surpassed all the records in US and is on a mission to topple many in domestic circuit. However the real test for this film will be in the coming days as it has to face the ultimate villain. Attarintiki Daredi’s piracy copy was out even before the release of the film, but that didn’t stop it from being the record breaking opener.

But the piracy started to show effect in overseas circuit from Monday onwards. Usually the collectionson Monday and other weekdays in overseas will be very less compared to weekends. However, the drop in collections of AD in overseas is huge as the movie got very good talk and reviews. This is only because of the spreading online piracy which is showing adverse affects. Although the effect of it in our state is not visible till now, Police are seizing thousands and thousands of pirated DVDs of AD all across the state and that shows there is some unseen effect on local business too.

Attarintiki Daredi has tremendous repeat value and this piracy is killing it. People who had seen the movie in theaters may not come again because pirated DVDs of good quality are available everywhere. AD is likely to cross 45 crores share in its first week and it will need another 30 crores to beat Magadheera’s full run share to become the biggest hit ever. For that AD has to face and kill its ultimate villain, or else it will struggle to beat Gabbar Singh lifetime collections too.

Mahesh ‘One’ Vs James Bond Movies

Well, Superstar Krishna is the Tollywood version of Jamesbond. His Gudachari 116 acts are known to us and fans will be expecting his son Superstar Mahesh too same acts. But here is something that will excite fans of both these handsome actors.

Keeping the talk regarding budget and time schedules aside, the brighter side of Mahesh-Sukumar’s movie is its technical brilliance. Titled ‘One-Nenokkadine’, this movie is going to show some spectacular chases and fights that we often seen in Jamesbond flicks. Who forgets that boat chase sequence in ‘The World Is Not Enough’ and that bike chase in ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’. They are some spine chilling scenes ever shot for Jamesbond movies. Reports have that there are couple of such sequences in Mahesh’s One too.

Already the unit has shot some extensive bike chase sequences in the suburbs of London. They say output of those scenes is at par with some Hollywood standards. Since last two days, Mahesh is actually shooting for a boat chase sequence in Bangkok. Unlike those regular shots in Telugu movies where heroes just stand, sit and drink on yachts and boats, this is going to be a high octane chase sequence.

Attarintiki Daredi does a Magadheera

We see many hits every year and there will be few records rewritten with each film. But not every film can be a unanimous hit in all the territories. Except for Magadheera none of the films have created records in first week run in the last five years. Magadheera created a unique record by breaking first week records in each and every territory that it was released. After Magadheera few films managed to beat its first week record, but not a single film could repeat that unique feat by creating new records in all the territories.

Now Ram Charan’s Babai Pawan Kalyan has done that with Attarintiki Daredi. This film has already broke the first week records in AP and also in overseas. On the sixth day it has also surpassed previous highest shares in all the territories. Attarintiki Daredi collected a share of over 40 crores (worldwide) in five days and will get a very good share on sixth day as it is a National Holiday.

First week worldwide share will be more than 45 crores for sure. This is sensational and unbelievable record for a Telugu film. Remember this film was released without proper planning and had to face the worst nightmare in the form of pre release piracy. But Pawan Kalyan’s star power overpowered everything and made Attarintiki Daredi an all time hit with respect to opening week collections.

KCR withdraws ‘traitor’ remarks

Telangana Rashtra Samithi President K. Chandrasekhar Rao withdrew his remarks during the ‘Sakala Jana Bheri’ where he said that to the effect that “all Seemandhra people are traitors of Telangana.”

He appealed to Congress high-command and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to start the process of Telangana formation without delay.

KCR’s remarks assume significance as several Congress leaders in the state criticized him for not mentioning Congress or any leader of the party in the ‘Sakala Jana bheri’ jointly organized by TRS and TJAC.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhar Rao tried to calm down the flared up situation following his remarks. He made these remarks during the ‘Sakala Jana Bheri’ rally at Nizam College grounds.

KCR requested Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to start the process of Telangana formation without delay, on the plea that delaying the issue will create dissensions among people.

When asked about the stance of his party over YSRCP-sponsored ‘Samaikya Shankharavam’ as announced by its president YS Jagan, KCR said “anything is possible, as the Centre is keen on solving the issue.”

He took exception to remarks by BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya and CPI state secretary K. Narayana. KCR also criticized Congress MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy for calling him a “demon”.

What for YSRCP’s “Samaikya Shankharavam”?

YSRCP has planned to conduct a large gathering in Hyderabad in the name of “Samaikya Shankaravam” on October 19th. It’s different from last month APNGOs “Save Andhra Pradesh”. Save AP was non-political gathering where as “Samaikya Shankharavam” will be purely linked to politics. More city people who are from SA residing at HYD have voluntarily participated in HYD. The success of YSRCP political meeting will depends on how much people in HYD will co-operate to YSRCP.

People in SA have already doubts on YSRCP’s commitment after the failure of resignation drama. APNGOs warned those who seek for resignations are consider culprits to the SA agitation. YSRCP’s resignations ploy boomerangs after receiving objections from all corners. SA Congress and TDP leaders blamed that there is match-fixing between Congress and YSRCP. How one political party can evacuates it’self from one region for United Andhra? They blamed that YSRCP wants for division in the name of United.
