Dilip Kumar is known as the ‘King of Tragedy’ in Bollywood. He was seen in iconic roles in the classic like Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna and Madhumati. He was born in Peshawar (now in Pakistan) on December 11th, 1922. His acting career last for six decades and has done more than 60-odd films. He was honoured with Padma Bhushan in 1991 and Dadasaheb Phalke in 1994. He was the first person to receive Filmfare Best Actor honour when the awards was launched in 1954. Dilip Kumar and Shahrukh Khan stands on top with most number of Filmfare awards (8 each) won in the Best Actor category.

When asked about her working experience with the 40-plus hero, Ileana stated she never felt like she is working while being on the sets of this movie even though the unit has wrapped a major portion of the shoot. “I am having a great time on the sets. It’s so much fun to work with Saif,” she told.

On her second flick ‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’, Ileana feels she has never done such a film before and her chemistry with Shahid will stand out as the best. She even opined there is no one on earth to match the comic timing of film’s director Rajkumar Santoshi.

Two more Pubs (Over-The-Moon pub at Daspalla hotel, Movida pub at Radisson Blue Plaza hotel) have been booked on the same day for similar reasons. On Friday, Cops raided two pubs (Kismat pub in The Part Hotel – Somajiguda, 10 Downing Street pub – Begumpet) and also arrested the managers for violating the license norms.

The police have decided to act strictly on the pub owners due to the increase of sexual assault cases in the city. Pubs have been putting the life of women customers at risk by serving alcohol more than permitted time and even the transportation is an issue late in the night. West Zone DCP confirmed that raids will be conducted on all the pubs violating the norms.

Makers of ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ have locked October 2nd as the release date of their movie. Indications have been sent to all the distributors and exhibitors in this regard.

Actually, ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ was slated for Ramzan-Independence Day weekend (August 7th). Due to the ongoing agitations, the release has been pushed to August 21st and then September 20th. As the situation hasn’t improved much, release of this family entertainer got postponed once again and this time its  October 2nd which is believed to be a Dussehra treat for fans if everything falls in place. When Mahesh came with films like ‘Nani’ ‘Athidhi’ many groups did the same thing of washing him out but he emerged back to become a superstar. So, it could be that if ‘1-Nenokkadine’ fails to reach expectations then he might go through the same phase that Charan is currently going through. Let us wait and see how this will work out.

While Chiranjeevi is yet to do his 150th film, there are reports that few close circles of Chiru are advising him to take up guest roles in big films.
