‘My Career as Hero ended’

Share
It is known that Jagapathi Babu is playing villain in Balakrishna-Boyapati’s upcoming film. Here are few of interesting answers given by the family hero in Today’s press meet.

On his new phase as character artiste & villain: “Three-years-ago, I had told to my cousin that my career as Hero ended. There were times I used to cry for days to act in at least on film. There should be limit for everything, even desire. I have acted in 100 films and I am satisfied with my career till now. Youngster have been taking the lead. This is my new phase and if I start doing roles with good characterization, I can reach peaks. I have done few films just for money in the past and I stopped that now. Now, I’m doing this film for my passion.”

On his role in the Movie: “It will be powerful and stylish. I am ready to change my body-language if director insists. I am very excited about the project”. On remuneration for Balayya’s film: “I haven’t asked for any remuneration. I said them to say one figure and it was made final without any further discussion or bargaining”.

On his off-screen relationship with Balayya: “I can only act in movies, not in real life. Even Balayya too is a straight forward person and I like him as a person. We are good friends once. I’m not saying we are enemies now. We can’t meet often because he is busy with his work and I am busy with mine. We even played celebrity cricket matches in Bangalore once. He was the captain and I’m vice captain even though I don’t knew how to play. I met him on Friendship Day and we remain as friends even Today”.

Reaction of his fans on choosing Negative roles: “We have to do few sacrifices. I knew that few of them will get hurt due to the attachment we share but they have to look it as cinema”.

Romance Movie Review – 2/5

Share

Rating: 2/5
Starring: Prince ,Dimple , Manasa
Director: Darling Swami
Producer: G. Srinivasa Rao, SKN
Banner: Good Cinema Group
Music: Sai Karthik

Story
Story takes off with Krishna (Prince) narrating his story. He is a graduation student who is in search of his soulmate with some restrictions like a virgin girl and doesn’t believe in pre-marital sex. He comes across two women in which he wants to select a better character girl. He sees Lalitha aka Lola(Manasa) and gets attracted to her. He becomes close to Lola but later opines she is not right for him and ditches her for another girl Anuradha(Dimple). By the times, he feels Anuradha is the better girl for him the former starts on a mission to test Krishna back. What happens next forms the rest.
Performances
Prince is charming while his performance was good. But it’s better for the young lad to choose the scripts with care.
Dimple Chopade can barely act but has the sex appeal which she did her bit. Manasa was decent in her performances but lookswise she hasn’t scored much.
Sai as Bluetooth bobby, Venu Madhav brings few smiles here and there while others were there to fill the space.
Technical Analysis
Cinematography has nothing to boast of while the editing is jerky. Swamy not only fails as director but his dialogues also fail to impress. A couple of songs are good while the background score is pretty mediocre. Production values are standard.
Analysis
The story is wafer-thin, neither the screenplay is impressive. The humor elements hardly impress and the dialogues are unattractive and looked c-grade. Swamy fails in his direction. Maruthi’s earlier films Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop though had adult comedy and double-entendre dialogues, the films have done well due to its plot and youth appeal, but Romance neither has a plot nor comedy but it’s packed with disgusting and sleazy content like guy testing girl’s virginity and character while the girl ends up testing a guy in girl’s hostel. Such scenes test the audiences patience. It’s not the romance, not the love story but plain trash. The title is misleading giving the impression of youthful love entertainer, but it’s totally crap with lust factor and double-entendre as main theme. The film has managed to create good hype with its title and promotions, but the makers fail to reach the hype.
Final Verdict
Adult rated film with vulgarity at its best!!!

Sampoo in Allu Sirish Film

Sampoornesh Babu, the Burning Star of Tollywood who made a strong impact with the funny teaser of ‘Hrudaya Kaleyam’ attracting the attention of ace celebrities in Telugu film circles is hurrying to make a mark of his own. While no one knows what is the status of production work for ‘Hrudaya Kaleyam,’ here comes a report that film maker Maruthi and hero Allu Sirish working on ‘kotha janta’ are planning to rope Sampoornesh in a special character.

Maruthi has this knack of promoting his films and cashing the same into revenues. If at all, Sampoo becomes close to Mega family then he will have a long way to go with blessings of Allu Aravind and Chiranjeevi. But, everything depends upon how Sampoo designs his career. As of now, there is nothing official about Burning Star in ‘kotha janta’ but let us wait and see.

NTR Not Interested with That Title!

Share
Young Tiger NTR’s new film in the direction of Santhosh Srinivas started rolling on 2nd August at Jubilee Hills of Hyderabad. Initially, the makers have considered the title ‘Rabhasa’ for the movie. However, the title is not heard now. Maybe because this title has the similarities with Ram Charan’s ‘Rachcha’, NTR might not have shown his interest of this title. However, we have to wait and see whether the makers finally, prefer the title as ‘Rabhasa’ or any other title for the movie.

Samantha will be pairing up with ntr in this film. Incidentally, Samantha is also doing the female lead of NTR’s upcoming movie ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’. Jayasudha, Shayaji Shinde, Jayaprakash and Ajay are doing other lead star cast of the film. Anoop Rubens scores the music of the film while Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the movie on Sri Sai Ganesh Productions.

Beat Chiru with stones

PRP former women wing chief Shobha Rani called upon the people of the Seemandhra region to beat the union tourism minister Chiranjeevi with stones, if he comes to their areas.

Shobha Rani self-imposed house arrest at her residence in Srinagar Colony in Hyderabad, protesting against state bifurcation on Friday.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, she said Chiranjeevi was the main reason for the bifurcation. She said the Congress president Sonia Gandhi who chose to divide the state should leave India. Stating that the Seemandhra leaders were not in a position to go out, she said this was the reason why she self-imposed house arrest. Calling Chiranjeevi an actor even in real life, Shobha Rani said wherever he went including Telangana, he would be beaten up by the people. She also threatened that they would not allow the films of Chiranjeevi’s family members to run.

Ranbir Kapoor wants privacy

The most searched diva upset and distressed?

Share
Kats and Ranbir together look too good and more recently they were spotted together at many places, and the duo have become talk of the town, whether it is their shooting spot or personal party or a holiday they were not spared by the papz.

Especially when the duo’s pictures vacationing at Ibiza beach were strewn all over the Internet, lady Kats became so upset and depressed.  So much so the actress has written an open letter to people, lets say to all the privacy intruders! Here is her letter:

“I am writing this to say that I feel most upset, distressed and invaded at my pictures published in a film magazine (and which were carried by other media). The pictures were taken while I was on holiday by someone who, in an act of cowardice, has shot without permission and then used the pictures for commercial gain.

There is a breed of journalism that preys on celebrities in the worst possible manner crossing all lines of privacy and decency. Running these pictures shows support for this school of journalism.

I request that all media running these pictures please refrain from doing so. I have a wonderful relationship with the media and have been accessible to the media at all times. There is no reason for this furtive and invasive behavior.”

It should be noted that the pictures of Katrina and Ranbir in beachwear at a beach in Ibiza, Spain that were published by a webzine went viral with people speculating so much about their relationship. While we understand every individual needs privacy, being a celebrity itself means one becomes too public, aren’t you aware of the cons of being one Kats sweetie?

Sridevi – Flirty at Fifty

The August 2013 Edition of Vogue has a stunner on cover. Ageless diva and yesteryear beauty Sridevi donned the cover and masha allah how many of you would believe she is 50+?

With an incredibly amazing figure for her age and a super toned skin that can conceal her age, August Vogue cover just sizzled. It’s not surprising Vogue roped in a veteran for its cover and goes on to show he confidence they have on the ageless material that Sridevi is.

We have seen Poonam Pandey’s sizzling cleavage expose and also Katz in two piece bikini, but Sridevi’s tops all One can easily say she is giving her own young girls a tough competition and to all the B town babes a run for their money.

Donning what looked like a Tea gown in pink, Sri resorted to minimalist accessorizing with a bracelet to left hand and pearl ring to right hand ring finger, let her hair loose and had same color lip color. A pout expression was the only let down considering the fact she owns a beautiful smile.

Botcha appeals seemandhras to remain calm

APCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana on Friday made a fervent appeal to all political parties, people’s organizations and students to maintain restraint on the decision of the Congress high command to bifurcate the State.

Speaking to the media in Gandhi Bhavan here, Botcha Satyanarayana said people of one region were happy and those of another region were sad on the decision of the Congress and the UPA. Reminding that TDP and YSRCP were blaming the Congress on the division of the State, he said it was unfortunate that all the political parties were trying to gain political mileage from the sensitive issue. Before the announcement of separate Telangana State, the Centre conducted all-party meetings for four times and sought their stand in the Telangana issue. Besides, Pranab Mukharji Committee in 2010 and Rosaiah Committee in 2009 also recorded the stand of all political parties in the State on formation of separate Telangana State. Except Congress, MIM and the CPI(M), all parties backed the statehood to Telangana and came forward to support Statehood for Telangana region, he added.

He felt that political parties should represent the sentiments and opinions of the people in a democracy. Actually, while the Congress got 39 percent of total votes polled in 2009 elections, combined Opposition got 61 percent of votes. Keeping this in view, the Congress took a positive decision on Telangana Statehood. Successive Chief Ministers assured to develop backward areas after formation of State in 1956. He said even after the country achieved freedom 55 years ago, some districts in Uttara Andhra (North Andhra)  Rayalaseema and Anantapur remain undeveloped

The PCC Chief said the TDP and YSRCP have not given any letter to the Centre demanding united Andhra Pradesh. The Opposition parties were blaming the Congress for division of the State. He urged the Opposition parties not to deceive the people of Seemandhra in the matter. Asking the people to show restraint, he appealed to the agitators not to damage the public properties in the name of agitation.

Botcha said ministers, MPs and MLAs did not take a U turn from the beginning and opposed division of the State. TDP president Chandrababu naidu was demanding Rs 5 lakh crores package to develop capital for Seemandhra region. Contrary to this, Chandrababu was also encouraging the Seemandhra TDP MLAs to resign to their posts, he alleged.

Hot Aunties Creating new Brand of Glamour!

Share
There was a time when glamour and sex appeal was only meant for the heroines but today the same demand is expected from actresses who are doing roles of mother and sister also. This gave rise to hot ladies like Hema, Surekha Vani, Satya Krishna and others to form a new group. But here is a new fight.

This is coming from hot aunties from outside Andhra Pradesh. It is being noticed that the likes of Nadhiya, Nagma, Anu Haasan are slowly making inroads into Tollywood and taking over as hero’s moms, sisters and other character roles. With the way they maintain themselves, it is hard to look at them with just admiration.

By bringing these seductive ladies, the Tollywood circles are creating a new brand of glamour among the aunties section. In a way this is also inspiring many middle aged ladies to follow the actresses and look young and beautiful. What we have to see is who among these hot aunties will become big as hero’s favorite mom or sister.

Telangana Students Started Leaving Andhra

Share
The decision taken by Congress party regarding Telangana is not a good sign for students from the region who are studying in various Andhra cities for the sake of quality education. With AP getting divided into two states, these students are worried about the ‘local status’ in Eamcet 2014.

As per rules of EAMCET, a student could appear as local candidate such that he can gain entrances into regional engineering and medical colleges, only when he/she completes intermediate in the same state. In the wake of creation of Telangana state, students who want to claim local status in Telangana should now study intermediate only in the 10 districts of the region. Keeping this in mind, as many as 50,000 students have now started getting back to their native districts of Telangana to study their second year intermediate such that they will get ‘local status’ in Telangana state. With the presence of many qualified teachers in Vijayawada, there is a huge migration of students from T to Andhra since 2005, and now this will take a backseat.

Meanwhile Intermediate Board’s senior officials felt that there is no need to panic as bifurcation process will take more than 8-9 months and Board will plan things accordingly.
