Attarintiki Daaredi gets its Censor date!

With Pawan Kalyan’s most anticipated Attarintiki Daaredi’s release is just around the corner and movie has been surrounded by huge hype, it’s anxious moments for his die-hard fans with each passing day.

And here’s the latest development in the film’s release. The movie is all set to knock the doors of regional Censor Board office on August 2 (On the same day when Jr NTR’s Rabhasa is hitting floors). Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the movie stars Samantha and Pranitha in female leads.

Billed to be an out-and-out family entertainer, fans are eagerly waiting to watch Pawan’s style, Trivikram’s witty dialogues and Samantha’s glamour. Since it’s a family drama with action, fans and movie experts are expecting a clean U certificate from Censor Board.Let’s wait until August 2nd to know how it turns out! Meanwhile, the movie is slated for release on August 7.

Did Mahesh Babu hurt Anushka?

If the story published in a leading tabloid is to believed, Mahesh Babu has hurt Anushka while shooting for his cameo role in the historical film ‘Rundrama Devi’.

As per the report, Mahesh who is playing a cameo in the movie was asked to throw a sword on film’s lead Anushka who should have to give a quick reaction to avoid contact with it. Unfortunately, the actress reacted much slower than the expected time and paid the price. As the sword wasn’t a real one but make of cardboard, she got away with just minor injuries.

Anushka is the second actor to get injured on the sets of Rudrama Devi. Earlier, Singer Baba Sehgal who is playing a baddie suffered a hairline fracture on the foot during the shoot of the movie.

The details of when and where this freak accident has taken place haven’t been revealed. The only possibility is that Mahesh might have shot for the cameo before leaving to Befast a month ago for the two-months long schedule of ‘1 – Nenokkadine’. Hope, Sweety is safe enough to resume the shoot as early as possible.

After announcing a ‘big break’ from shootings, petite siren Trisha stated that she is actually getting into hibernation mode and will not keep in touch for a while with anyone. But it turned a big surprise when the Chennai siren was spotted in Hyderabad the other day. Early in the morning, some people have actually noticed her at Taj Falaknama hotel in Hyderabad, while some say that they have seen her eating Haleem at a famous joint in twin cities. Case against minister Viswaroop’s son

State Animal Welfare and Husbandry minister P Vishawaroop’s son was arrested by city police on charge of beaten a person Today. Based on a complaint lodged by Raghavulu in SR Nagar police station, a case has been booked against the minister’s son Krishna Reddy and took him into police custody. The case was under investigation.

Raghavulu filed a case alleging that Krishna beat him on a pity issue. It may be recalled here that Krishna was caught in drunk and driving case at Banjarahills police station recently. The minister managed to release his son without undergoing punishment in the drunk and driving case but paid fine amount imposed by the city traffic police.

Former minister JC Diwakar Reddy reacted on local body election results in his own style. In Ananthapuram district TDP won as many as 150 village panchayats over Congress and YSRCP. And JC brothers retain their strength in Tadipathri segment. JC told that ministers Sailajanath and Raghuveera Reddy held responsible for the defeat of Congress in the district. He predicts TDP victory in PR elections and said that CBN marathon padayatra helps the party to win more in the state. He made his satire on getting results of Chittor which is native of CM. It’s not correct to make review on polls by sitting in HYD. Leader should mingle with people and cadre. JC too predicts the downfall of YSRCP in near future.

In Mahbubnagar minister D K Aruna candidate has won in her native village of Duvvada with a sleak margin of 71 votes. In West Godavari district of Minister Vatti Vasanth Rao, Congress had bagged only 22 of the total 84 panchayat seats. In Nizamabad district of Minister Sudarshan Reddy, congress had won only six seats of the 23 panchayats that went to polls yesterday.

Similarly in Minister Galla Aruna’s native Chittoor district Congress had bagged only 20 of seats of the total 61 seats what went to poll. However only the other ministers Balraju, Anam Ramnarayan Reddy and K Partharasathi had succeeded in saving themselves from embarrassment by wining comfortable number of seats.

Kajal’s over action lands her in trouble

Kajal Agarwal has been riding high earlier this year with a series of hits up her sleeve. She scored hits in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi within a span of few months and was labeled as the number one heroine of South Cinema. However, she got carried away by the successful streak and got greedy. She demanded for high remuneration and scared off the producers. With Kajal’s demands going over board, producers opted for other heroines and as a result Kajal is left empty handed in Tollywood, despite having excellent track record.

Right now Kajal has only two films in Tamil, one with Vijay and the other with Karthi. In Telugu no one is approaching her as she is reluctant to cut down the remuneration. She has already lost a film each with Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. With Kajal’s self goal, Samantha, Sruthi Haasan and Tamanna are making merry by signing up multiple projects at a time.

It is high time for the beautiful lass to realize that money is not all and should be flexible with her demands especially when she is offered a film with some superstar. After scoring hits with Nayak and Badshah, Kajal has only Yevadu to release in which she did a cameo. She had two successful films in Hindi but currently she has no Hindi movie on hands. The buzz making rounds is that ‘Yevadu’ will be sidelined by ‘Atharintiki Dreadi’ at the Box Office as the popularity of Pawan Kalyan is at it’s peaks right now. However, the ground reality hints action-thriller is in a safe zone and the fate of family entertainer is doubtful.

‘Yevadu’ is hitting the screens on July 31st in record number of screens Worldwide and there is no competition what-so-ever from straight or other language releases. So, it will have a free run for the entire first week in India and Overseas. As a result, the openings will be humongous irrespective of the talk and the buyers will be in a safe zone by August 7th.

‘Atharintiki Daredi’ will be releasing on August 7th and have to share the Telugu screens with ‘Yevadu’. It has to face a tough competition from Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Chennai Express’ (August 8th – over 4,500 screens) and Vijay’s ‘Thalaiva’ (August 9th – over 2,500 screens) in Overseas, Karnataka and Taminadu circuits. The only positive aspects for AD are Pawan’s craze, Fantastic pre-release buzz and Ramzan-Independence Day weekend.

On Paper, ‘Yevadu’ have got better chances of scoring success than ‘Atharintiki Daredi’. Neverthless, we can’t be judgmental as of now and let’s wait till August 2nd week to know who will have the last laugh.
